★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Six months ago our kitten, Scar, suffered a dog attack. On our way to Waldorf Emergency Care, our kitty was in a vegetative like state. Mostly unresponsive, unable to move, was rapidly breathing, and sometimes would make minimal noises of distress. Unfortunately, it turns out he had a fractured spine that left him partially paralyzed and was declining. Luckily, the vet staff were able to stabilize him and hospitalized him for the weekend. During that time, Scar perked up and was able to start moving around, eating, and was discharged home. No one thought he was going to make it, but I’m forever grateful of the staff at this vet for saving his life. He is now 9 months old and thriving. Thank you Dr. Ken Fox and staff!
August 20 · Breanna SanchezMy dog has been sick all week and finally I felt like she had hit a turning point in the wrong direction. The receptionist was very nice and I appreciated that they were clear on the wait time and that I could see where my dog was in line via their screen. All the techs were very sweet to my dog and the doctor was very helpful in explaining what was wrong and making the decision to keep her their overnight. When we picked her up the next evening I knew I made the right call. Yes it's expensive but no more than her regular vet. They were very clear with the cost and we've had great follow up contact with them. My dog Addy is doing much better, she still has a ways to go, but they brought her back from listless and not eating, to happy and hungery. I would definitely take either of our dogs here in an emergency.
July 15 · Alisha EdmonsonThis past Monday, we said goodbye to our beloved dog, Ginger. Ginger's breed does not matter, nor does her size or any other characteristic! What matters most is that when we needed someone the most, Waldorf Emergency Care was there (we live in northern Calvert County). We would especially like to give a big shout-out and thank you to Jessica, who was on duty that night. We had called ahead, and when we arrived, she took care of our needs (confirming that our girl had passed while enroute) promptly with care and compassion. We can not thank her enough for how she treated us that night! Based on our experience, we would definitely recommend this veterinary hospital!
July 06 · Allan CreamerThey first diagnosed my pet with Pneumonia, but came back 8 hours later and another vet said it looks like he has congestive heart failure instead.. My cat did get slightly better, but I realize he does now have a condition for life..I do feel like they nickel and dime you for everything in that hospital.. I don’t think the care was THAT great. Some workers had empathy and some could care less, it’s a job.. When I went to pick him up, it took hours, just to pick up my animal from the hospital.. I also, I didn’t feel neither I or my pet were amazingly cared for.. I felt like it was alllllllllll about the money! 💰 They kept asking for money!
March 02 · Rin GI had to put my senior dog to sleep yesterday (3/9/25) and from the moment I called to inquire about pricing and being in the room until right now where I just received a “checking on you” email, the experience has been top tier. Lauren, Layla, and the Dr were all so patient and kind with me. The environment was so peaceful and they allowed me the opportunity to take my time. I’ve never had to put a dog down however, my 17.5yr old poodle could not have had a more peaceful and loving experience. I was able to sit with him the entire time and even stay a little after. Of course I was emotional however, the team gave me the space I needed to process all that was happening. I’m so grateful for the support. I highly recommend this emergency care team and center.
