Westside Pet Clinic Introduce
For many in the Santa Monica community and surrounding West Los Angeles areas, pets aren't just animals—they're cherished members of the family. The bond we share with our furry, feathered, or scaled companions is a special one, and ensuring their health and happiness is a top priority. When it comes to finding exceptional veterinary care, you want a place that combines professional expertise with genuine compassion. Westside Pet Clinic has long been a part of the local landscape, serving as a trusted resource for a wide range of veterinary needs. Located conveniently on Wilshire Blvd, it has aimed to provide a comprehensive suite of services designed to support your pet's well-being throughout every stage of their life. From routine check-ups to more complex medical and surgical procedures, the clinic’s goal has been to be a reliable partner in your pet's healthcare journey. However, based on recent public information, it is important for the community to be aware that the clinic has been reported to be permanently closed. This is a significant development for pet owners who may have relied on their services.
Westside Pet Clinic is situated at 1304 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90403, USA. This prime location places it in a highly accessible part of Santa Monica, making it a convenient option for residents across the city and in neighboring communities like Brentwood and West LA. The clinic's location on a major thoroughfare means it is easy to find and navigate to, whether you're driving or using public transportation. One of the notable features of the clinic's facility, as per available information, is its commitment to accessibility. It has been noted to have a wheelchair accessible entrance and a wheelchair accessible parking lot. This thoughtful feature is crucial for pet owners with mobility challenges, ensuring that everyone can bring their beloved animals in for care with as little difficulty as possible. While the clinic is reported to be closed, this information remains relevant for understanding the community-oriented design of its former location.
The comprehensive nature of the services previously offered at Westside Pet Clinic was one of its key features. They aimed to be a one-stop-shop for a pet's health needs. Here is a list of some of the services that were available, reflecting their dedication to full-spectrum care:

Accessibility: As mentioned, the wheelchair accessible entrance and parking lot were a key feature designed to accommodate all members of the community.
The decision of where to take your pet for veterinary care is a significant one. Westside Pet Clinic's reputation was built on its promise of comprehensive, compassionate, and convenient services. For many, a single location that could handle everything from a routine check-up to an urgent medical issue was a major draw. The commitment to a compassionate service model, along with modern diagnostic tools like digital radiology, aimed to provide peace of mind to pet owners. The accessibility features also made it a more inclusive option for a wider range of people in the community.
The availability of in-house services, such as a fully stocked pharmacy and laboratory, was another benefit, reducing the need for pet owners to make multiple trips to different locations to fill prescriptions or get lab results. For pet owners in Santa Monica and the surrounding areas, Westside Pet Clinic sought to offer a reliable and professional veterinary experience, making it a valuable part of the local pet-loving community.
However, it is critical to address the recent reports of the clinic's permanent closure. The provided customer reviews suggest that the clinic may have ceased operations without proper notification to all clients, causing frustration and potential stress for those with scheduled appointments. It is also important for the public to be aware of the serious allegations and legal issues raised in one of the reviews regarding a veterinarian associated with the clinic. These factors highlight the importance of thorough research and due diligence when choosing a new veterinary provider. While the clinic may have once been a consideration, the current circumstances suggest that pet owners will need to explore other trusted options in the area.
As of the current public information, Westside Pet Clinic has been reported to be permanently closed. However, for historical context and for those who may have been trying to reach them, the following information was previously available:

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Don't take any animal to this Vet. Gary Adams DVM previously had his licensed suspended and was on probation for 5 years. I would have NEVER used him if he had disclosed that the CA Attorney General had taken his license. He hurt my dog for years. It was only when she ended up in the ER that I realized that he had misdiagnosed her, was lazy (rather refer to specialists his solution was antibiotics), and was still guilty of the same behavior that had caused him to lose his license. I won the Small Claim and Appeal against him.
July 02 · Dinah PerezFYI: We arrived for our scheduled appointment today only to find a sign indicating that the office is permanently closed. We called the number listed for a different vet as indicated on the sign, but they had no record of our appointment and were unable to assist us.What’s especially frustrating is that this appointment was made just a few days ago, and we received multiple reminders via email and text as recently as 48 hours ago.Fortunately, our visit was only for routine vaccines, but I can only imagine the stress if we were dealing with a more pressing health issue.
April 25 · Helen WahleToday, April 21st, I went to this clinic to make an appointment for my cat. When I arrived at the clinic, there was no one inside. After a few minutes, an employee (a woman) came out and started screaming hysterically when she saw me. I told her why I had come, she didn't understand a word I was saying. She spoke recklessly and called me by my cat's name. She was either on drugs or mentally ill. Such a person cannot work in a clinic.
April 21 · Laura OzturkI don’t understand why the simplest surgery became a problem. I’ve heard a dog in the same room as my cat at the clinic. When I came home, he was bleeding. I called the clinic immediately, but they said everything was fine. After a week, he still needs to wear the special collar because of the redness. I would never go there if I knew!
February 14 · Alla ChalayaI brought my shih tsu in as we had to fly . He needed a single vax. They gave him multiple vaxes and sent me a huge bill !! Against my wishes. My super healthy beloved dog was diagnosed with lymphoma within 3 months and died . He ate organic food all his life . I hate this vet bc they murdered my vibrant healthy dog . Stay away . Stop vaccinating to profiteer !
