Whitehouse Animal Hospital Reviews
Been bringing my dogs here since 2019. Dr. Bill is always straight to the point, yet kind. When my one dog started experiencing odd symptoms 2 years ago, he ran multiple tests and even did some research over the weekend to read up on why her calcium levels would be so elevated etc because he wasn't quite sure, she was pretty young with no pre existing health issues. He called that next Monday morning with info and basically came to the conclusion she might have some kind of cancer and referred us to a specialist. He was right, my sweet girl got tested/scans at Blue Pearl in Michigan and had lymphoma which quickly took her life as there is no cure for dogs.Besides that, we go for basic appointments for annual shots for our other dogs. Oh and I have gotten 2 of my female dogs spayed there and they healed up very well!I feel confident that if another dog of mine comes down with something odd, he will do his best to figure it out and not give us the run around! His wife is also always kind as well.My pups are my whole world, if I ever feel like the care of them is slacking, I would change vets immediately. Thanks Dr. Bill!
Jan 03, 2025 · Chey Ai called and Pat answered the phone and after reading many negative reviews about her I already new what i was in for. I was looking to bring my new puppy in to get her vaccines up to date and get her spayed. She said they weren’t taking new patients and i said ..like no new patients at all?! and she said well we are but your dog already has vaccines so it’s been seen by another vets office already and we aren’t trying to step on anyone’s toes. i said she’s from a pet store and they gave her the shots there she has not been seen by a vet yet. She said but she has been vaccinated so she’s already been seen by a vet. At this point I was frustrated and kept re-explaining myself and she eventually let me make an appointment. So she lied when saying they weren’t taking new patients.. she just didn’t want to see my dog because she had already been given her first few vaccinations. Even if i was changing vets that’s not your business! She should be encouraging new patients not denying them treatment!! I wouldn’t be as frustrated if she hadn’t given me a big attitude while talking but she shouldn’t be answering the phones if she’s going to speak to people this way. Needless to say I will be taking her to another vet. Especially after seeing reviews of doctors cutting spleens when spaying animals and leaving stitches in when they are sent home. I highly encourage you read the MANY bad reviews before deciding to take your pet here. I was absolutely shocked by seeing how poorly animals are treated at this locations. If you are looking for a great vet that takes great care of them and doesn’t run up your bill I recommend trying Midway animal hospital. They took amazing care of my last dog but I tried switching vets due to moving. At this point i’m willing to make the 20 minute drive to Midway after calling this place. Pat needs to be fired!
Jun 17, 2025 · Emily DeanI was referred to them by a family member. Best advice I have been given. Pat and Dr. Bill and their amazing staff are absolutely amazing. I started taking my senior dog to them in 2018. They showed nothing but love and compassion to my senior dog. With the care of Dr. Bill, we were able to keep him 5 additional years. When the day came for him to go to the rainbow bridge Dr. Bill and Pat were there to console and comfort me and my husband. A year later, we decided to adopt 2 puppies. Again, they showed what kind of people they are, kind, loving and compassionate. Would absolutely recommend them to everyone, as I do.
Jun 22, 2024 · Tara BaileyTook us on as an urgent client for a kitten someone dropped in my yard. The vet and staff are top notch here. So friendly and knowledgeable.
Jun 18, 2025 · Kathy JohnsonI have been with Whitehouse Animal hospital since Dr Nofzinger. I even worked with him while I was in high school. I love Dr Bill! I even drove from Gaylord Michigan to have my animals treated from Dr Bill.Things have changed tremendously for the worse. Dr Bill is no longer old school and his staff is often rude! I have been hung up on and yelled at and told nothing can be done! I truly hope Dr Bill reads this. My last call to his office was to cancel my appointment for my recent rescue. I said “I wish to cancel my appointment this Friday and I will no longer be using your services for any of my rescues”Response “Okay I will let him know”
