- Comprehensive Oral Examinations: Thorough examinations, often requiring anesthesia to properly assess below the gum line, to identify dental disease, abnormalities, and potential issues.
- Professional Dental Cleanings (Prophylaxis): Scaling and polishing teeth above and below the gum line to remove plaque and tartar, essential for preventing periodontal disease.
- Dental Radiography (X-rays): Full-mouth digital dental X-rays are a standard part of their procedures, allowing for the detection of issues beneath the gum line, such as bone loss, abscesses, and unerupted teeth, which are invisible to the naked eye.
- Advanced Periodontal Therapy: Treatment for periodontal disease, including deep scaling, root planing, and potentially advanced procedures to preserve teeth where possible.
- Tooth Extractions: Expert and gentle extraction of diseased or damaged teeth, performed with precision to ensure patient comfort and prevent complications. This includes complex surgical extractions for difficult cases like fractured teeth or those with significant bone loss.
- Oral Mass Removal: Surgical removal of oral masses, whether benign or malignant, with careful attention to clear margins and post-operative recovery, as highlighted in client testimonials.

Your Pet Dentist Reviews
I seriously can’t say enough good things about Dr. Greenfield and his team at Your Pet Dentist. My older cat Gracie had dental surgery here, and she is truly a different cat now—in the best possible way. The whole experience was smooth from start to finish. I got multiple updates before, during, and after her surgery (I think four calls total), and they made sure I knew exactly what was going on every step of the way.A couple things needed to be adjusted during the procedure, but nothing was done without my okay—no surprises, just great communication. Dr. Greenfield even gave me his personal cell number in case I had questions afterward, since he was going out of the country. Who does that? It meant so much to know he genuinely cared. The entire staff was kind, helpful, and just great to work with. Honestly, I think this was the best experience I’ve ever had with any doctor’s office—pet or human. I hope I don’t need to come back anytime soon, but if I do, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you, Dr. Greenfield, for bringing my Gracie girl back to life!
Jun 27, 2025 · Lucie SarasohnMy family is incredibly grateful to Dr. Greenfield and his fabulous team. Our 8-year-old Husky German Shepherd mix, Kira, was referred to Your Pet Dentist by our veterinarian to have a large oral mass removed. We were comforted by their expertise and the compassion they showed to both us and our fancy girl. Dr. Greenfield took the time to walk us through every step of the procedure, both before and after, addressing any questions or concerns. The surgery was a success, and the results exceeded all expectations. We couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome! Kira is healing beautifully, and it’s been wonderful to watch her bounce back to her chatty, happy self. Our pets are family, and surgery can be a frightening experience. Dr. Greenfield and his team made a difficult situation so much less stressful with their professionalism, care, and excellent communication. Pawsitively amazing!
Jan 29, 2025 · Shannon LeMayMy puppy ended up with a jaw fracture and several missing as well as broken teeth. We were referred to Your Pet Dentist and were able to get in first thing the next day. Everything was explained very well, cost breakdown was given prior to procedure, payment options were available if need be such as pet credit, etc. I was given a time frame for when my pup would be done with his procedure, I was updated throughout the day. Was updated when his procedure was completed, and upon arrival. Dr. Greenfield was kind enough to show us our pups CT scan and compared one side to the other. He explained everything he did and chatted with us. He gave us his personal phone number and told us to reach out at any point if we have concerns. This warmed my heart that he was so engaged and willing. This is not something you see very often. We had a follow up appointment 2 weeks after the procedure (which was free of cost) and everything was healing amazing!! He told me exact things to look out for and when to contact our vet and/or him (as he also did post procedure). It was nice to know that our pup was well cared for and this wasn’t a one and done ordeal. The staff is very friendly and gets you taken care of in a timely manner. Great experience! Would highly recommend :)
Feb 18, 2025 · Jiaya CannonOur four-legged companion required a dental procedure to repair his jaw. We received exceptional hospitality from every staff member at Your pet dentist's office. Highly recommend. They thoroughly explained the process, kept us informed, and ensured a smooth visit. We are delighted and grateful that we were transferred to this location for our pet's care.
May 08, 2025 · Amber DelappCannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Greenfield and his lovely staff. The hubs and I were terrified about having to get a dental done for our 13 yr old cat Bamba. Two years prior, we lost our other cat during her dental from the anesthesia and couldn’t bear the thought of having it happen again. But Bamba desperately needed it done, as she had a lot of reabsorption and infection. Dr. Greenfield was very patient with us, and answered all our questions. Procedure day they kept us informed of everything going on, and when we came to pick up our girl, Dr. Greenfield even gave us his personal number if we had questions over the weekend. Bamba is doing great, and you can tell she feels much better having a healthy mouth! If you have older pets and are worried about anesthesia, come to Your Pet Dentist. It’s absolutely worth it!
