Jun 24, 2025 · Richard Montesi purchased a blue/ green chromis from this fish store about a year and a half ago and my aquarium still hasn’t recovered from it. when i put the single fish into my tank, after about a week i noticed white spots in all my fish (ich; the worst case scenario) . i soon quarantined them all with copper and they all died. when i brought this issue up to other fish stores they pointed out that this fish store had a reputation for selling infected/ unchecked & un quarantined fish. if you want to have a successful reef tank avoid this shop at all costs. if i could give 0 stars i would this store has ruined the hobby as a whole for me.
Jun 12, 2025 · Martin Gonzaleztheir berghia are expensive but absolutely worth it. cheaper than shipping them and they’re super healthy. check out these two sharing an aiptasia donut.grab an acclimation box (also at ellis) and drop them in with a few aiptasia and hiding places to get started. keep the lid closed. the parents and eggs will be protected from predators (even amphipods eat nudi eggs), the babies will float out and start colonizing.oh and the rest of the store is also perfect
Aug 28, 2024 · Billy SproutBest place to shop live salt water fishes with very enriched stocks and fairly cheapest prices I have ever seen in a LFS.We drove 6.5h from San Francisco to LA to visit and pick up our orders. Their stocks have very high turn over rate, so better call the owners to place an order and reserve the items you are interested in :)
May 01, 2023 · Chen WangI left my frozen food at the register... The people working the store had no issues giving me back my items... Went over and beyond to sending me a text message to help me understand what went wrong and why the phones weren't answered. Good guys!
