Aiken Pet Fitness and Rehabilitation Introduce
For pet owners in South Carolina, particularly those in the Aiken area, the health and well-being of their aging or injured animal is a top priority. While traditional veterinary clinics are essential for routine care, some pets require specialized attention beyond the scope of general practice. Aiken Pet Fitness and Rehabilitation fills this crucial role, offering a focused and compassionate approach to pet physical therapy and wellness. Led by Dr. Eva, a highly skilled veterinarian, this clinic is not a place for general check-ups but a dedicated facility designed to help pets recover from injuries, manage chronic pain, and improve their overall quality of life. The practice is founded on the belief that a pet's life can be extended and made more comfortable with the right therapeutic interventions, even when facing significant health challenges.
The clinic's approach is unique and highly personalized. They understand that every animal is different, and as such, a standard treatment plan doesn't always work. The team is known for its ability to adapt to a pet's individual needs and quirks, ensuring that the animal feels safe and comfortable during a treatment that might otherwise be stressful. This commitment to the pet's emotional well-being, in addition to their physical recovery, is a major reason why clients have seen what they describe as "miraculous" results. The clinic’s specialization allows them to focus on areas that are often underserved in traditional veterinary medicine, such as helping a senior dog with a spinal injury or managing severe arthritis.
Aiken Pet Fitness and Rehabilitation also identifies as a women-owned business and is committed to being an LGBTQ+ friendly and transgender safespace. This dedication to inclusivity creates a welcoming and supportive environment for all members of the community. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Whoever gave Dr. Eva and her team less than 5 stars HAS to be some Karen. They are amazing. The results have been miraculous. My 12 year old Pitt (who has metal hardware in her hips due to being hit by a car years ago, and has had cancer) developed a spinal injury. Poor baby has been through a lot, but is still full of personality and life. Like a slipped disc in people, the original vet called it IVDD? She couldn't hold her back end up, and even when using a sling, she had severe knuckling. I thought it was time to let her go. Surgery at her age was risky and there is no guarantee that it wouldn't reoccurr. Every pet is different, but after just one appointment, the difference had me in tears. We continue it weekly, sometimes bi-weekly. She is doing amazing thanks to the ladies here. They are greatly personable and have no problem to adapting to whatever quirk your fur baby may have. They make sure the pets feel it's a safe space besides the wellness of the therapy. My baby uses the hydrotherapy and the PEMF. You have to put in the work at home as well though. They're the pros, but a daily massage, red light therapy wrap, vitamins/supplements specific to your pet's needs, etc go a long way. Help them help ya'll. I can't express in words well enough how grateful I am that they're in the area and made time for us. They are astounding. The outcome has been phenomenal. If i could give more stars, I would.
August 17 · ABC DEFDr. Eva and her team provide amazing services. We came in on March 14th for a consultation. Our dog has a terminal illness and has also been battling severe arthritis for a few years. During our session our dog did hydrotherapy, acupuncture and had a nice relaxing massage by Dr. Eva. Our pup is not a big fan of water but the staff treated him with kind smiles and helped him feel confident about the water treadmill exercises. I am pretty sure his most favorite part was getting all the tight muscle knots loosened up by Dr. Eva. She was very welcoming and friendly, our dog could not resist. It was a remarkable experience, seeing our pup enjoy the therapy brought us so much joy so thank you Dr. Eva & team.
April 24 · Rebecca OliverThe folks at Aiken Pet Fitness and Rehabilitation are fantastic. They take the time to make sure your pet is comfortable before they do anything, making something that could be stressful for your pet into something they enjoy. Our primary vet recommended surgery for our dog but I wanted a second opinion. Aiken Pet Fitness was able to help our pup with non invasive methods and he's running around like a puppy again! Plus, he enjoys his time at PT and pulls me into the building every time! Highly recommend.
February 15 · Hope HartmanThis staff is amazing. Helpful, friendly, and understanding. The vet is amazing how she gives the dogs a hands on exam over their entire body. She works magic with my injured visyla and arthritic red heeler. Wish I had a doctor for me that caring and healing!
