My new vet! Staff is great with animals, & very helpful. My dog, Cinnamon, was treated with special care; the vet was amazing, and took time to explain what I needed to do. I trust them 💯 %!
Feb 26, 2023 · Dennis RedwayI had to put my baby girl down on March 1st 2024 so the cancer wouldn't take her and the vet there didn't charge me for putting her down because he seen how much I cared for my baby thank you for your kindness.
Mar 15, 2024 · Adam ReedHelped calm down my dogs fleas and yeast infection. Gave him a steroid, flea med and med for yeast infection sent home. They gave me two doses of Catego in a plastic ziploc bag for my two adult cats to treat the fleas at home. I put them in separate rooms, in between the shoulder blades so they couldn't lick it. Immediately after it was on my young cat she got bug eyes, panicked and was foaming at the mouth. My eldest was the same, but spitting foam everywhere after about a minute. MedVet told us over the phone to wash them off with dawn dish soap, getting as much med off as we could. She said I need to look out for rapid eye movement and repetitive behavior as seizures were the main concern. They ended up being okay, just shaken up after being cleaned and then back to normal the next day but it concerned me that they didn't return my call or express any of these side effects in the appointment. Overall for the price and my dog's treatment, not bad, I probably would've gone back. My experience with my cats really freaked me out, but don't let that deter you. It was just my experience. Do your research before hand and ask questions! I definitely should have.
Jan 16, 2025 · Kenzie LisowskiJan, Vicki, and ultimately Dr. Cuesta dismissed my concerns and now my dog has potentially years taken off of her life. In late October 2021, we found a tick on my chihuahua, by late November she started exhibiting signs of Lyme disease (stiff joints and soreness in her limbs) I made an appointment and specifically asked if it could be Lyme disease which Vicki and Jan scoffed and told me to stay off the internet. Dr Cuesta dismissed my concerns as well and didn’t test for Lyme disease. So we spent the next 4 months locking her in a crate, pumping her full of steroids. Multiple appointments and hundreds of dollars later I refused to leave the office without a Lyme disease test. Jan acted like I was crazy. Turns out she had it. When I brought up my frustrations and anger with the staff, Dr. Cuesta blamed it on them being over worked and understaffed and was more concerned about how I would treat his staff than the fact they prolonged my dog’s suffering. I gave them the damned diagnosis on the first day and I couldn’t even get an apology. I switched vets and Vicki made us jump through hoops to get our records sent over and was rude to our new vet office. I found out today that due to the steroids my sweet dog has heart disease and two years left at best. Don’t go here just because they are cheaper than other places. Advocate for your pets health because this office doesn’t. 1 star because I can’t give zero.
