★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1All About Pets Vet Hospital was awesome. They got me in the same day for a minor emergency with my dog Barney—he had some matting and irritation from his harness. The staff was quick, efficient, and really personable. I appreciated that they focused on what was needed and didn’t try to overcharge or push unnecessary treatments. It’s clear they genuinely care about the animals they see. I’ll definitely be bringing Barney back here if he ever needs anything again.
May 21 · Carly DI made an appointment for one of my Pekingese dogs at All About Pets because he had been coughing for over 24 hours . I was relieved to get him in that day but they charge $100 to walk in the door. There was no new client discount & no senior discount. I could have just gone to VCA on Manzanita for that price. My 16 pound dog was prescribed the antibiotic Doxycycline & cough tablets. The Doxycycline capsules were very large & I was unable to get my dog to swallow them after trying wrapping it in food, etc. The medication also is known to cause an upset stomach & he hasn't wanted to eat for 3 days. I called the practice this morning to tell them I am unable to give him the large Doxycycline capsules due to the size & that he is not eating & also vomiting when given the Doxycycline.I waited for over 3 hours for a call back which never came. I finally called & talked to Jessica who was advised to suggest an anti nausea medication that would be an additional cost of $32.42 . That's on top of the $99.00 exam , $ 37.36 for the Doxycycline & $59.89 for 21 cough tablets. I spent over $200.00 trying to get help for my dog & am now stuck with medication he can't tolerate or benefit from . He is as sick as he was before I went in. 4 years ago an exam was $48.00 now it's $100.I have 3 Pekingese & was hoping to get established here but not when they charge $100 per exam & $60 for cough tablets. In addition, I inquired about the cost of a nail trim & anal gland expression which are routine grooming procedures. The price quoted was $38.50 for each which is much higher than other local grooming salons. The quote also added a charge of $79.00 calling it a " wellness visit fee". The total cost to get a nail trim ,anal glands expressed would be $156.00 with the " required $79.00 " wellness visit fee"!! Make no mistake, All About Pets is All About Money. $$$$$
October 09 · Jessica EdwardsI took our 7 week old Boston puppy in for his first DHHP vaccination. He also got a microchip in for only $60.Our Veterinarian and staff members are always so caring, helpful, and knowledgeable.
August 04 · Tia CampAmazing!!!! Labs, ultrasound and prescriptions in less than 1.5 hours!!!! It wasn’t an emergent thing so going to Davis seemed a bit much but waiting for primary vet was too far out - Mayfair was perfect for our urgent care. Fast and friendly!!
