★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I truly can’t recommend this place enough!Over the past 3–4 years with our three dogs, we’ve encountered and been seen by nearly everyone on the staff — and every single vet, tech, and team member has been kind, compassionate, and incredibly skilled. They clearly care deeply for the animals and their people. The level of care here has been unmatched, they are transparent with their costs and their prices are more than fair, especially for a rural mountain vet.We recently had to say goodbye to our very good boy at 17.5yrs — they were nothing short of incredible in helping us schedule his last day. They came out to our house (for a completely reasonable price), and were so gentle and sweet and respectful and encouraging of the extra time we needed. I can only imagine that’s got to be one of the harder aspects of that field, but how they treated our boy and how they showed up in that moment made an incredibly heartbreaking day a little more tolerable because our dog felt at ease and relaxed around them as did we.We’ve had several other types of visits with varying levels of severity and every single time I leave there feeling grateful to have found such an amazing place!
August 11 · Alicia FerberCan't recommend this place enough. I drive by probably six different vets to get to this one, and it's well worth going out of my way to bring my animals here. For starters, my senior dog was diagnosed with lung tumors from the vet nearest my house, and given only a few days left to live. Devastated, I made the most of every day I had left, but needed to brace for the inevitable. I called my vet and asked for euth and cremation costs and if they offered clay paw prints. That vets' prices were 5x more than this place. A couple days later, my sweet girl passed in her sleep and I was able to bring her body to this vet for cremation, which was so UNBELIEVABLY more reasonably priced, but they include the clay paw for free! When her clay paw was ready for pickup, they called me and texted me, that it was ready for pickup, that they'd keep it safe for me, said their hearts are with me during this time and sent their condolences for my loss. Absolutely over the top service, and empathy. When I picked up her clay paw, they were so sincere and kind and sympathetic. Anyone could've just told me it's ready for pickup, here you go, and left it at that. But you can feel their hearts are fully in everything they do and say.Next, my goats. I brought my entire herd here for vaccines and castration, and they were so kind and knowledgeable, answered every question I had and handled my little munchkins with care. I was able to watch the entire operation and ask questions if I had any.I can't emphasize enough how much I appreciate everything they've said and done in just the past couple weeks I've been bringing my animals here. Highly recommend!
October 24 · Kiara AuglieraWe have had to use them for two emergencies now, the first one our sheep had an emergency during business hours and they were super friendly and super helpful and able to fit us in as soon as we got there even though they were really busy, the second emergency was with our alpaca outside of normal business hours. Their after hours vet called back within a few minutes of my voicemail and were able to come to us and even accommodate a surprisingly sterile setup for stitches in her own pen! The staff was friendly and so knowledgeable it helped ease our anxiety immediately.
July 07 · Mya BlankWe have had an amazing experience with this vet. Everyone is always super helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy. The mobile equine service saved us when out donkey was attacked by a mountain lion and they came out multiple times to stitch him up. I am having the dogs boarded for the first time soon and expect it will be the same first class experience.
June 16 · Shana NuttreeI just want to share a very positive experience. My family brought our pony into Aspen Creek Vet today for a routine and scheduled well horse visit. EVERY one of the staff members was pleasant and welcoming - including the office staff. I highlight the office staff because at our prior vet clinics the vets and techs were nice but office staff was rude and so darn unwelcoming... This is what drove us nuts to the point of seeking a referral for a new Vet.Kudos to this practice. I feel we addressed exactly everything needed. The doctor was patient, informative, and great to work with. The vet tech came out to meet us in parking lot and was super friendly. The facility is clean and in such a beautiful area with a lot of land to spread out.An experience such as this leads me to recommend Aspen Creek Vet Hospital to anyone seeking equine care. They mentioned that they service your normal cat/dog clientele but also the exotic animals like birds, fish (yes apparently fish need a vet too 😲), kangaroos, and probably so many more. Thanks you Aspen Creek Animal Hospital
