On TRAC Veterinary Care Introduce
For pet owners in Littleton, Colorado, and the surrounding Denver Metro area, managing a pet's mobility issues, chronic pain, or post-surgical recovery can be a challenging journey. On TRAC Veterinary Care is a highly specialized practice that focuses exclusively on animal therapeutic services, providing a unique and essential resource for the local community. Unlike a traditional primary care vet, On TRAC is dedicated to helping pets regain function, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life. The clinic’s mission is to educate pet parents and provide high-level physical therapy care for their beloved companions. By focusing on a collaborative and individualized approach, the team at On TRAC is committed to being a partner in your pet’s recovery and long-term well-being.
The practice is led by Dr. Caitlin Leonard, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) who is also a certified canine rehabilitation practitioner and a certified veterinary medical acupuncturist. Her extensive training and expertise allow the clinic to offer a range of specialized, non-traditional veterinary services that are not widely available. This specialized focus ensures that every pet who comes through the door receives expert care from a professional who understands the unique needs of animals in recovery or with age-related conditions. The compassionate and supportive nature of the team is frequently highlighted by clients, who note their patience and willingness to provide emotional support during stressful times. As one review states, the team was "incredible," "so patient and supportive," and provided "a ton of great insight and recommendations" for a senior dog, which is a testament to their dedication to both the animal and the human companion.
On TRAC Veterinary Care is located at 7701 Shaffer Pkwy Suite C, Littleton, CO 80127, USA. This convenient location in the Ken Caryl area of Littleton makes it accessible for pet owners throughout the Denver Metro region. The facility is designed to be accessible to all clients, featuring a wheelchair accessible entrance and a wheelchair accessible parking lot. The clinic has a restroom available for client use. The clinic operates on an appointment-based system, with appointments recommended to ensure that the team can dedicate the necessary time to each patient. This is particularly important for the specialized, hands-on nature of their services, which often require extensive one-on-one time with the pet and a thorough consultation with the pet's parents. This commitment to focused appointments ensures that your pet receives the undivided attention they deserve, creating an environment that is less stressful and more conducive to healing.
The services offered at On TRAC Veterinary Care are highly specialized and centered on rehabilitation and pain management. On TRAC Veterinary Care Reviews
We scheduled an appointment to have our 12.5 year old malamute fitted for a wheelchair. Emotions were high and my wife started crying from the stress of our boy aging, but the team here was incredible. They were so patient and supportive and took their time with our dog. The doctor provided a ton of great insight and recommendations for taking care of our boy in this phase of his life. It was so heartwarming to see our dog take to the wheelchair so quickly, and the team at OnTRAC made sure it fit him perfectly, taking into account all his health needs. We would absolutely recommend OnTRAC and Dr. Leonard to anyone needing high level physical therapy care for their animals.
June 14 · James WeissAmazing! Our Bernese mountain dog didn’t heal properly after TPLO surgery, to the point that additional surgeries were being recommended. We did 5 months of therapy and staved off surgery. Our girl is back to full use of her leg and we are so grateful!
