Jan 11, 2025 · Timothy FirminOutstanding people. They truly care for your feather babies. One of our birds started acting strange and this place saved our baby's life. Courteous, caring, detailed, reliable and gentle with our babies. We will not take our birds anywhere else for care. Thank you.
Jun 19, 2025 · MMax MMy birds are my family and we live in Walker. I've been very pleased with the care my feathered babies have gotten from all the vets they've seen. They're very knowledgeable and affordable and worth the drive to me. I'll continue to bring my feathered family here when they need.
Jun 19, 2025 · Heidi BaurI’m really grateful to have discovered this vet by chance when I needed an emergency visit and none of the vets nearby would take us. Friendly and knowledgeable technicians and Dr. Pence is wonderful at what she does. She kept me updated and sent me pictures when my baby was hospitalized and I was very impressed with her precision and skill in repairing such a tiny limb (pictured). Because of their care my bearded dragon made a full, perfect recovery and I couldn’t recommend this clinic for your exotic animals more. Thank you so much! ❤️
Feb 02, 2024 · Erica KingFirst off, I have to say, I will always bring my birds here if I ever have another. I was unfortunate enough to have a parrot that had an incurable illness, one that I was unable to diagnose in my current city. On his last legs, literally days from him passing, I was able to find this hospital and give him care that ultimately gave me another 11 months, and one more christmas, with him that I will forever cherish. They gave him incredible care and gave him life that I otherwise would have never gotten had I not found Dr. Rich and Dr. Pence and their team. It has since been one year since he has passed and I still think about him everyday, but I am also forever grateful for the time they gave me with him to the end. More so, I am grateful how they treated me when they knew I was hurting as well. All of the staff were empathetic, especially Dr. Pence who had to be there when he passed. I truly believe they care, as they have even sent me christmas cards the past two holidays and it has reminded me how much they did for me and my baby Rio, even if he unfortunately couldn't be here today. They were there for me through texts, almost daily, for months as well, giving me updates and answering any in depth questions I had with expediency. I love this hospital and I would gladly continue to drive the three hours to see them again if I have another parrot. More so, I would recommend them to anyone who has a parrot in need of care and you want to make sure they're getting the absolute best. This is exactly where you should go.I also wanted to note that the AVMF Care Fund link on their website is not working and I wanted to email since it was less intrusive than a call and it wasn't serious enough to warrant such, but I hoped to use some of my advertising space on my personal stream to help bring traffic to your page specifically so that any donations towards the fund would be done on your behalf and help bring some awareness to the great work you are doing. I would basically love to somehow return the good you've done for me and help promote donations to your hospital or a charity that will most positively impact your hospital, if at all possible. I hope you all continue to keep doing the best
