★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I've been with banfield for the entirety of my dogs life (6yrs). We have moved several times and have worked with and met some really great Doctors and staff within the Banfield organization. Ive also been a member of their wellness plan for years. I dont necessarily have a problem with Banfield itself, but I have a MASSIVE problem with the lack of compassion Dr. Hurst had for my dog when she tore her CCL. We needed surgery, and we couldnt get the surgery without a referral. After days of calling multiple times a day where I was completely ignored by Dr. Hurst I made the decision to go to CityVet on Hulen. There I got a same day appointment, the referral was completed before I left the building AND the medication we received cost LESS than what I paid at Banfield even though I received more tablets. My dog had her surgery on August 8th with ZERO input or help from Dr. Hurst. I'm not saying don't go to a Banfield, but I am going to say Dr. Hurst may be too overwhelmed or too busy to care for your pet. After looking at the cost of the wellness program we have also decided it would be cheaper to stick with CityVet and will be canceling our wellness plan. Thanks Dr. Pribula at CityVet!
August 15 · Brynn HernandezVery kind staff and the Veterinarian took her time going over the results and answered my slew of questions. I called on a Saturday at 4:30 and was able to get in a 5pm and only was charged $71 for a general exam and ultrasound of the bladder. Absolutely crazy cheap for a weekend last minute visit.
April 14 · Hanna HossI have been taking my dog to Banfield for four years. She was seeing Dr.Malvey and she is no longer there. They have been having different doctors come in until they hire a permanent doctor. After today's service I sure hope that will be soon. The service I received today was sub standard. I need my pet to see a permanent doctor and not someone here today and gone tomorrow. I was not pleased that I was given a prescription that Banfield could not fill. I ended up bringing my dog into the office for a cerenia shot.
