Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this time I can’t be quiet… charge for a band-aid that fell off on its own after two hours: 52 dollars. LOOK THE DESCRIPTION AND LOOK THE PRICES. And they don’t remove the nail, they only CUT it and look all the changes
July 10 · Emely GonzalezI’ve been bringing my dog Rambo to this clinic for years, and the doctors and nurses have always been absolutely amazing. They’ve shown true care and compassion every time, and I’ve always trusted them with Rambo’s health especially with cancer. It’s clear they genuinely love him, and that means everything to me.Unfortunately, our visit today was very upsetting. We arrived just ten minutes late to pick Rambo up after a very stressful dat where we truly thought we might lose Rambo. Instead of understanding or empathy, we were met with disrespect from the receptionist at the front desk. The Spanish lady working today was incredibly rude, showed no compassion for the situation, and provided terrible customer service. She refused to clearly explain the services or charges, and even tried to add an unexpected $100 fee. When questioned, she escalated the situation by arguing and yelling over the phone.i have never wrote a review until today. While I still have the utmost respect for the vets and nurses who take care of Rambo, the front desk experience today left me very disappointed. I hope management addresses this, because the clinical team deserves better support—and so do the clients.
August 01 · Laura PalauI’ve been taking my 4 month old goldendoodle Mel here since she was 7 weeks old and it’s safe to say she absolutely loves it here! I’ve never had a dog love the vet so much but she truly gets so excited to see every veterinarian and vet tech in this building! You can tell they take great care of the animals that walk through the door and are thorough with their routines! I couldn’t recommend this vet enough!! They answer every question i have and are very thorough and professional!
April 11 · gaby siqueiraWould not go back. They took my dog away and brought her back 5 mins later and said okay all done. Hardly asked any questions, I don’t even know if they checked her out or what vaccines were given. What happened to vets doing the exam in the exam room? And all for a 5 min visit I was charged $165. And the vet was very sketch. That’s all ill say
April 02 · Abby KunisWe made the very difficult decision of putting our dog down, and the doctor couldn’t handle that request after having it scheduled for a week. We rescued our dog as a puppy and have spent nearly 14 years with her. Her health had majorly declined, and she was no longer the happy dog that she had been. It was all very hard and sad. After saying goodbye and having our children say goodbye to their lifelong childhood dog, we took her to Banfield, who was our vet for her entire life. The doctor at Banfield judged us and our decision after seeing our dog for 5 minutes. He made the whole visit about HIM, and HIS discomfort with the euthanasia, and completed disregarded US as the owners, and our dog! What was already a very hard and painful day was made significantly worse by the lack of care we received today. We were advised to reschedule on a different day to see a different doctor THERE to perform the euthanasia. Going back home and bringing the dog back to the kids was out of the question, because who can go through that multiple times?? We left Banfield with the dog and beyond disappointed with them as a veterinarian office and doctors. We went a few miles up the road to a kind and understanding doctor who understood that our dog’s quality of life was diminished, and our dog was put to sleep. It was an awful day, and Banfield’s lack of care for our dog and our family was so disappointing. I’d like to spare anyone from having to go through what we went through today!
