Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews
Been going here for 9 years. Always greeted warmly. Techs are normally friendly and pleasant except 1 which was my most recent interaction. She was not very personable. Love how the vet explains things on the phone. She seems to really care. A couple times it seemed that the drop off process took longer than normal or what I was use to. It took almost 30 minutes but still love the service they provide. I also have to mention that I was very impressed with the Faithful Companion service/business they use when a pet passes away. Will continue to bring pets here.
Mar 30, 2025 · Janet PippinFirst I called it was maybe like 9:15 talking to the receptionist she immediately started to give me numbers to a different clinics that were really far from me because they were closing at 10. After seeing more of my cat condition I made it a point to me just take him up there. it's only like 10 min from my house. It was like 10 min till 10 and the lady in the reception office didn't say a word just looked at me with my cat in my arms and hurry up to run out if the office ignoring me. I took him home I tried the fry next day again to bring him up there this time barley breathing I was told there wasn't a doctor till noon I then drove to a vet doctor on market by then he had died in my arms. Com see to find out all he needed was a catheter p you t in an do his blatter drained. The people who work and run this clinic don't belong in the position of running a hospital. This place is for emergencies but the only thing important to them is their own priorities and have no commitment to being of service or have any integrity to the field they chose as a career. Money is probably the only thing that is motivating this place of business. We need another clinic one that is a bit more passionate towards saving our pets. Especially when they are connected so deeply to our lives and family I lost one of the most important parts of my life and a little more of my faith in humanity. I can only hope that one day they get treated that way so they know how it feels to be treated with such disregard to like there lives have no value
Jan 29, 2025 · Joseph RudolphiThis place is inconsistent and very unhelpful. It’s impossible to get a hold of anyone on the phone and when you do they only ever have drop off appointments. After taking my dog to a different vet office (even the Banfield in Cranberry Township) I realized it is not normal for my dog to have so much anxiety at the vet. They never allow us in the back to comfort our dog. The girls at the desk are unhappy and make you feel like an inconvenience even though it’s their job?? I would never recommend this office to anyone that actually cares about their animals.
May 16, 2025 · Cailin GrayI believe this company has predatory policies. this is not against the doctors and front desk clerks at my local PetSmart Banfield Hospital. This has to do with the company that’s headquarters is in Canada. .I experienced a customer service representative from Banfield Pet hospital that was very unprofessional and not focused on taking care of their clients who pay a monthly premium to this company. whether our pet is seen or not . This company would not be Operatable if no clients paid the monthly wellness plan fees. This is my personal experience and I would not recommend Banfield to any pet owner. Look at the multiple one star reviews for this company.
May 23, 2025 · Ceyaire MilonWe have taken my three year old golden retriver here ever since he was a puppy. I do like the main doctor, Dr. Hedland she always seems very knowledgeable and helpful. We purchased their wellness plan when we first started going. Which was easy and quick to sign up for right there in the lobby, but as my dog got older we realized we didnt need the vet enough to be paying those prices every month. Plus on top of that even with the plan I still was paying about 400 dollars everytime we did have to go. On one of our last visits, I asked to cancel our wellness plan, because at the time, it was about 65 dollars a month for basically nothing. The front desk ladies (who are always pleasant) informed me that she wasn't able to cancel it and I'd have to speak with the vet techs once I was in the room. Once in with the vet tech I informed them that I wanted my plan canceled and she said that wouldn't be a problem. I left having fully paid my bill and with the assumption my plan had been canceled. It was only later when I got a bill from a collection agency saying I owed money to banfield because of my unpaid plan (that I had been told was canceled) that I realized they hadn't actually canceled it for me. Needless to say by the time I realized all of this was happening they hit my credit score for an unpaid bill that I had no knowledge of because they hadn't canceled the plan I'd asked them too.We also have been getting out heartworm medication through them. All we have to do is walk in and ask the ladies at the front desk for a refill when we are out. The last time my husband went they gave us a three month supply. When he went In today to get more they informed him they couldn't give us anymore until he had a heartworm test. They did not tell us the last time that it would be the last refill until he had a test completed. So now we are out of his medication and I have to try and scramble to find a place to get it from so that he gets it on time. All an all I am not impressed with how the place is run or how they communicate, and will not be using them anymore in the future.
