★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Banfield in Mehlville has a wonderful staff, amazingly kind people from the front desk, the technicians and doctors. During our visit, everybody came in just to say hi and meet my sweet Splotch. I felt very comfortable with the entire team. The doctors are all very kind, compassionate and offer top notch medical care. We had an outstanding experience and left knowing my little one is in good hands with this team. And they really worked like a team. Wish there were more than 5 stars to give them. Very happy! ❤️🐈❤️ June 14 · Justme
- The hospital is fine. The OWP they sell you on are scams. Says they give discounts for multi pet plans. I've had these plans for years and never seen and type of discount for having multiple pets enrolled. They refuse to refill a prescription they prescribed until I complete another $300 test that is not covered under the plan. One month they have this condition another month they have the exact opposite condition. Unsure about this place. I used to love the vets here but they seem to have a skeleton 💀 crew everytime I'm there. I will NOT be renewing any of my pets OWP. March 22 · Andrew Berry
- Banfield has been taking care of my 16 yr old kitty since she was 3 days old. They love all animals and give the BEST care. ❤️ Here's my girl enjoying a sunbeam while waiting for her bloodwork results to come back. July 07 · Penny Magas
- 2025 update: I rescued a kitten and took her to Stray Rescue of STL to get spayed, chipped, and vaccinated. I was horrified at the condition she was in when I picked her up after her procedure. Massive bruises, excessive swelling, tattooed so deep it looked like a second incision, eyes had been cut, terrible experience. I took her to Banfield and we had a visit with Dr. Eisele. He saw my cat was stressed so he spoke calm and quietly. He was very gentle when handling her. He listened to all of my concerns and gave thorough answers. I'm very grateful they called to let me know they were making time to see my cat ASAP instead of waiting for the scheduled visit which would have been a few days out. Excellent experience, I highly recommend this facility and Dr. Eisele.Very sweet and accommodating staff. Dr. Hornung handled my cat with care and took time to assess the situation before suggesting treatment. I received a follow up call checking on my cat to make sure she was doing well.I also appreciate how the staff at this location genuinely care about their animal patients. I arrived early to my appointment and witnessed them take in an emergency patient even though they were incredibly busy. Please keep in mind that the pets cannot tell them what is wrong, so the staff needs time to properly treat the animals. Prepare for the visit to take longer than expected, but the service is well worth it and I would never want to feel like I'm being rushed in and out. Highly recommend this location and Dr. Hornung. Thank you for all that you do! April 02 · N M
