May 28, 2025 · Roxana MacelaruI don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I felt the need to share my experience. This was my first time at this clinic, and my original appointment was at 10 a.m. Due to traffic delays, I arrived 15 minutes late and was told I couldn’t be seen because the doctor had another appointment at 10:30. I completely understood and asked if there was a later appointment available. They offered me one at 12 p.m., although I found it a bit unfair since, by the time I was about to leave, the 10:30 patient still hadn’t arrived. For my 12 p.m. appointment, I called ahead to let them know I would be 5 minutes late, and I was informed there would be a $15 late fee. Despite that, I arrived and ended up waiting over 40 minutes to be seen. When I asked how much longer it would be (since I had to be at work by 1 p.m.), I was told the vet was attending to a dog with a broken leg. I completely understand that emergencies happen, and it’s no one’s fault—but it would’ve made a big difference if someone had communicated this upfront. That way, I could have chosen to wait or reschedule, especially considering I was warned about being charged for my small delay. In the end, my snake was not examined as needed, and I left feeling like my time wasn’t respected. I truly believe that with clearer and more honest communication from the beginning, the experience could have been very different. But thank you, this isn’t meant to be a bad review, especially since my snake wasn’t even seen. It’s simply intended as constructive feedback. 🫶🏻

Apr 06, 2025 · cynthia weissThe staff here is amazing and the prices are great! Dr. Hollifield is the best, I have had all of my cats and dogs kept healthy by Doc and her staff. I first came here with a dog of mine dog back in 1995 and ever since then I've brought all of my animals here (dozens) and I've never had a bad experience. I would recommend anyone who loves their pets and considers them a part of your family to go see the caring and knowledgeable experts at Best Friends!
Dec 28, 2024 · Brendan BranniganDr. Hollifield and her staff are kind and knowledgeable about a wide variety of animals including reptiles and amphibians. It’s very hard to find a good reptile vet, but I’m so fortunate to have found Best Friends Veterinary Hospital to help ensure I’m properly providing the best care for my animals.
