Center for Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery LLC Reviews
Very good experience. Recommended by my cat's primary doctor. The staff were very gentle and professional with my 16 y.o. cat. They helped us figure out what was going on with him, giving us much closure. His procedure went well and everything performed was explained very well to us. He bounced back for a short period. This helped us buy precious weeks to plan to say goodbye to our cat. I really appreciate how quickly they were able to see us too. The doctor was very sympathetic and kind.
May 02, 2025 · Jo Jo LeeVery highly recommend this practice! My cat needed all his teeth removed due to an underlying condition and had this procedure done about a week ago. I was very nervous and all the doctors and staff were incredibly kind and helpful in the days leading up to surgery and the day of. They are very responsive and compassionate. I can tell they genuinely care about their patients based on the fact that they followed up multiple times to see how my cat was doing post-surgery. Most importantly, the surgery went very well and my cat is healing beautifully! Thank you to the entire staff!Update: My cat is about 9 months post-surgery and doing so well!! His mouth healed with no issues and he appears to be free from any pain. He seems more relaxed and happy. Within a few weeks he was back to eating everything (including dry food/treats) and chewing on his toys! Can’t thank this team enough for the amazing quality of care they provided my cat. If your cat needs work done on his/her teeth, this is the place to trust!!
Jul 29, 2024 · SarahWe've had so many health issues with our pug Olivia since September ... one thing after another. Then we found out she had to have all of her teeth extracted. We tried to have this cared for at a veterinary practice locally, but Olivia had BP issues while under anesthesia, so we were referred to the Center for Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery. Wow, what an amazing experience. I was very nervous about the whole thing, but Sara encouraged me that they will take awesome care of Olivia, and they certainly did. My wife and I prayed that the right doctor would be in charge of Olivia's case ... and Dr. Taney was a specific answer to that prayer. I learned that she too had a black pug years ago, and that her own daughter's name is Olivia. That certainly gave me peace of mind. Dr. Taney was meticulous in explaining the procedure to be performed, and gave me a thorough debrief after the surgery was completed. I wasn't sure what to expect with Olivia now being toothless ... but thankfully, she's doing great and I don't even notice anything different with her behavior, eating habits, etc. For such a traumatic situation, I have to say Dr. Taney and staff were exceptional, and made me feel Olivia got the very best. Thank you all so much!
Jan 31, 2025 · Marty RobinsonMy kitty that had stomatitis had to get a full mouth extraction. My vet recommended this place and although pricey it’s worth every penny with how well the staff handles everything from your first phone call! They got records they helped me with any questions I was having. The doctor I had was great, she dealt with how emotional I was and provided advice and was straight to the point. The techs were great and friendly and loved my Elaina and made her feel at home! It’s been about three weeks, and my fur baby is doing great, she’s even nibbling on her dry food again! Hope you enjoy this photo as much as I do! Thank you guys!! ♥️
Nov 03, 2022 · Cynthia ColeI am so grateful that I found this dental vet clinic! I swear they saved my little 2lb yorkies Oscar’s life! Please choose a veterinary dentist especially when you have a small pet. Their jaws can easily be broken when not done by a dentist. I spent thousands the last few months trying to figure out what was making my dog throw up and coughing while drinking water. Dr. Taney did the extraction and another doing his anesthesia. They were so careful! I was so scared to have a dental done. Thank god I did! Oscar is back to normal. Dr. Taney also performed a dental on my Pomeranian. II also recommend this clinic over another dental practice in Vienna. Arrogant doctor and they didn’t care that my dog wasn’t quite strong enough for surgery. I wasted my money, but who cares! I also forgot to mention the fabulous Dental students at the practice! The ladies were in charge over here!
