This includes personalized recommendations for nutrition and behavioral enrichment.
Feline-Specific Vaccinations: The clinic offers a complete schedule of vaccinations for cats, including feline-specific diseases like Panleukopenia, Calicivirus, Rhinotracheitis, and Feline Leukemia Virus, with tailored recommendations based on the cat's age, breed, and lifestyle (indoor vs. outdoor).
Diagnostic Services: Equipped to diagnose a wide range of feline medical conditions, they utilize various diagnostic methods, which may include in-house laboratory testing (blood work, urinalysis) and potentially imaging, though specific imaging capabilities like X-rays or ultrasound would need to be confirmed directly with the clinic.
Surgery: They perform surgical procedures tailored for felines. This includes routine spaying and neutering, as well as soft tissue surgeries (e.g., mass removals, wound repairs) and dental surgeries (e.g., tooth extractions, oral tumor removals).
Dental Care: Recognizing the importance of oral health in cats, they offer routine dental cleanings, examinations, and dental surgeries to address common feline dental issues and maintain overall health.
Parasite Prevention: Comprehensive programs for screening and preventing internal and external parasites (fleas, ticks, intestinal worms) are provided, along with appropriate preventative medications.
Nutritional Counseling: Expert guidance on selecting the right diet for a cat's age, breed, and health status, including recommendations for weight management and obesity prevention, a common issue in cats.
Senior Cat Care: Specialized care plans are available for older cats, focusing on addressing unique age-related needs, pain management, and nutritional support to ensure a comfortable and fulfilling quality of life.
Feline Boarding Services: For cat owners needing to travel, the clinic offers specialized on-site boarding services in a quiet, cat-friendly environment designed to minimize stress and ensure the comfort of feline guests.
Bathing & Grooming: Understanding cats' unique grooming needs, they provide gentle and compassionate bathing and grooming services, using cat-safe products and techniques to ensure comfort and well-being, including customized grooming plans for specific needs.
Urgent Care: While not a 24/7 emergency hospital, they offer urgent and emergency care during their regular business hours for non-life-threatening conditions.

Mar 05, 2025 · SansthepacifistI have taken my cats to this clinic for six years and was happy with them until recently. My cat was seen six months ago to be treated for fleas andI bought six month supply of NexGuard ($207)) and used it religiously. I called to purchase more and they want to charge $325 for me to purchase more NexGuard. This includes a well visit, shots required by NC (we live in SC) and proof of taxes paid on both cats! I’m looking for a new Vet. Sounds like a money grab to me!
Apr 23, 2025 · kaye rogersWe have taken our cats to Carolina Cat Clinic for 30 yrs. The care provided by the staff is outstanding and we love Dr. Cristobal. Dr. Pearman Barbee has performed two surgeries on our handicapped cat, both with outstanding results. We wouldn't take our cats anywhere else.
