Cat & Dog Hospital of Portland Reviews
Great! 😃 The vets are the best. The assistants are awesome. The costs are really low compared to other vets I've been to. My two cats have Dr Woodside as their regular vet and they like how she always offers good ideas and explanations. The only thing I'd change is to have more airflow and coolness in the rooms.
May 02, 2025 · Biscuits Blindcat (microtyger)The Cat & Dog Hospital of Portland has been our trusted family vet since we got Willow about a year and a half ago. Throughout this time, they've consistently provided outstanding care, guiding us through the various challenges of dog ownership.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Whether it's been routine check-ups or more urgent issues when Willow gets into strange things, they've always been there to help with kindness and professionalism. We couldn't be more grateful for the peace of mind they provide. Highly recommend!
Aug 12, 2024 · Daveed TuckWe switched over to Cat & Dog Hospital a couple years ago and couldn't be happier we did. Dr. Woodside is friendly, intuitive and trustworthy, very thorough in her evaluations and validating of any concerns we've had about our cat thus far. She always provides pragmatic suggestions and advice without making us feel forced into anything that seems unnecessary or extraneous. The rest of the staff here have also been wonderful, helpful, communicative and quite attentive, while being super transparent about pricing and how all the individual costs break down when necessary. Grateful to have such a great vet and team in our kitty corner.
Apr 11, 2025 · Rachel FrankelWe love this clinic! Both Dr. Newman and Dr. Lu have seen Lucy, and they are so nice and ready to answer my (many) questions-- I've never felt hurried or disregarded, by either them or the wonderful techs. I also often send emails about questions that don't require a visit, and always receive prompt responses. The prices are very reasonable as well. Lucy loves coming in, she gets so much love!
Apr 14, 2025 · Emma BrophySo happy to have this vet clinic in our neighborhood! We’ve been going here for 14 years now, since our cat was a kitten. For years we just used them for annual checkups, along with the occasional drop by for flea meds, and we were always pleased with the care. This year our elderly cat got quite sick with kidney disease, and the clinic staff have been wonderful in helping us figure out the best way to treat her, while maintaining a high quality of life for her, all while balancing the cost of treatment. During her illness, I think we have received care or phone advice from everyone at the clinic–all 3 of the vets, the vet techs, and the front desk staff–and everyone has been wonderful: compassionate, helpful, and understanding. Highly recommended!
