Writing this review is difficult — as it brings back the pain of losing my beloved dog to cancer last year in December. However, I feel it's important to share my experience with Cleveland School Animal Hospital. From the moment my dog became sick, the staff provided exceptional care and compassion. Mar 18, 2025 · B BWe are relatively newer patients to Cleveland School Animal Hospital and I couldn’t be happier with the love, care and service we have experienced and received! On September 30th my Doberman Pinscher, Keeva, was spayed by Dr. Goodwin. Not only did Dr. Goodwin go above and beyond for Keeva, her staff did as well. From ensuring Keeva would be calm and relaxed before arriving for the appt, excellent post op care, (additionally recommending the Suitical Suit for post op care), and calling to check-in with us later that evening and the next day to see how Keeva was doing. They were ontop on everything to ensure Keeva stayed comfortable and pain-free during her recovery. Thank you to Dr. Goodwin and her amazing colleagues for taking such wonderful care of Keeva while she was in your care!! You have a patient for life!
Oct 16, 2024 · Lisa SandersI started going to Cleveland School Animal Hospital about 16 years ago. One of my dogs (puppy at the time) was constantly throwing up her food and the vet I used at the time couldn't figure out what was wrong, to the point that they wanted to do exploratory surgery. In a panic (two little kids + two dogs = no time or money), I got an urgent appointment with Dr. Basden. She took an x-ray and showed the completely whole kibble in pup's stomach (hence the barfing). Easy fix - change food and get an elevated feeder. I've gone to CSAH ever since. My older dogs are both gone and I just got a very good girl from the shelter, so it's a no-brainer where we went for our first checkup/vaccine boosters.
Jun 11, 2023 · Amy PoppIn my opinion, Cleveland School Animal Hospital is the best general practice vet in the area! The entire team is so knowledgeable, sweet, caring, and compassionate. They always go above and beyond. I can't recommend them enough! My boy always loves going in for visits to see his favorite veterinary staff friends!❤️
Feb 02, 2024 · Hannah SchoenemanVery good Covid19 protocols. (you stay in your car in the parking lot , call them to say you've arrived and wait w/ a mask until they come get your pet. They also wear masks and take your pet inside. They brief you by phone when they've completed the exam, you pay for the visit and they bring your pet back to your car.) Friendly doctors and staff. Happy to recommend this vet.
