Clinton Veterinary Center Reviews
Absolutely horrible experience with horrible customer service. I had my dog’s teeth cleaned here. They pulled my dog’s 4 front teeth out without calling me and asking for permission. It’s standard practice to have the vets call before extract even when the client may not answer. Not only that, but I could see blood on my dogs legs from where they put in the catheter for the anesthesia for which they had to shave two legs to put in. Will attach a photo for reference.Overall, there was a lot of blaming the client for not specifying the standard practice and there is no common courtesy given out here. My dog has been permanently altered and not even the decency to check in with the owner is unacceptable. I was refunded the extractions but I still paid 600$ plus. I would never come here again to deal with the rude staff and a horrible office with it being in an unkempt basement with the main surgery room being a bathroom. The vet also didn’t even care to mention the recovery process for pulling out 4 teeth frommy dog. I had to ask him myself if my dog would even feel pain where the vet responded he seems fine.
May 08, 2025 · Albert DOur baby boy had a deep teeth cleaning with 2 molar removals recently. Dropped him off around 930 am and was told he'd be ready for pick up around 3pm.I was so nervous the whole time because he would be asleep under general anesthesia.Millie at the desk was very nice and explained the whole process to us and kept us informed every hour we called to check lol....Katherine was super cute and gentle... helping our fur baby in and out of the procedure.Wolfgang is so sweet, who we noticed was so kind to all the fur babies there.Dr Fisch is an AMEOWZING Vet. He explained and showed us Xrays of our sons teeth and what needed to be done etc etc.Brought our baby home.. he was groggy for a day and then back to normal!!!His teef are now so sparkly and breath so furresh🪻✨️🪻✨️🪻✨️🪻✨️🪻✨️🪻Really recommend him!!Convenient location, safe and clean.10/10 thank you!!!😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻
May 05, 2025 · BusyBurdieWe lost our beloved boys some time ago and informed the vets some three times now . We find this most upsetting being barraged with trying to sell us endless goods and nonsense ..NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR EMAIL . We are having to send a legal letter even though we blocked them , their intense sales pitch never stops .. We had stopped going anyway as one cat was misdiagnosed. and the vet is most curt , patronising and disrespectful.Goodness knows who he thinks he is , some vet in a grungy basement . You’d think they were paying us !Go to Blue Pearlopposite and save yourself the headache.. They are kind , gentle , well trained and HAVE GOOD MANNERS .And no we do not work for blue Pearlor anything associated .
Mar 28, 2025 · Timothy HadleyI have never been to this practice before but I feel compelled to share a review because of an interaction with Dr. Fisch that still stands out in my mind. It demonstrated the level of care and thoughtfulness that only the best veterinarians provide. Our dog was referred to Blue Pearl (located across the street from this practice) for an emergent liver concern. In my panic, I mistakenly called Clinton Vet Center instead. Dr. Fisch, who answered the phone, could have simply told me I had the wrong place and directed me to Blue Pearl. Instead, he listened to the reason for my call, and then, without correcting me of my mistaken location, put me on hold. After a brief wait, he came back with the correct contact number for Blue Pearl, as well as the name of the specific vet with whom I needed to schedule an appointment. He had even spoken with their reception and they were expecting my call.I was astounded by the level of care, generosity, and thoughtfulness he showed, especially as someone who was a complete stranger to him. His actions made such a strong impression on us, particularly given the busy nature of a veterinary practice.Although we regrettably moved shortly after, I still recall this experience with immense gratitude and am delighted that people's beloved pets are able to be cared for by such a kind person.
Dec 02, 2024 · Sarah SyprisFisch caused major bone deformity for my pet. Obviously, he is not an orthopedic, it's not his field of specialty, but he insisted on applying a splint for months where it was clear the bone was not sealing and it needed surgery to place a plate. Why did he do that? Either for financial gains or he was practicing on my poor pet who was in excruciating pain for months and at the end required a surgery to correct the damage Fisch caused. The surgery to correct the error Fisch did cost me $6000.00. I have leaned from locals at his previous location on 357 West 52nd street, which he rented for over 30 years, that he was kicked out because Fisch was unable to pay his rent. So he must has caused the damage to my poor pet leg for financial gains...
