East Side Veterinary Clinic Reviews
Too many staff, too busy, curt and insensitive today, time to move my dog elsewhere. The doctor is nice, explains well.I always feel staff are only polite when another client is standing near. Telephone manners need work. People always return if they feel respected.I tried to explain that I have a client with MS and can't go to the bathroom without my help, so I must give my office enough notice, for them to find a fill in, but no time to explain that, plus I used up all my PTO. (No work no pay).I was told my dog comes first, make a plan. They both come first. This afternoon was my only time off until Friday afternoon as I work all day and evenings other days. All they needed to do was take a bandage off his foot, because they made it too tight, it was supposed to come off yesterday.I asked to get a call if there is a cancellation, but they're so busy, doubt they would have called and doubt there would be a cancellation.I found a friendlier place, closer. They were too far anyway. When I called to ask them to send my dogs history over to the new place she got impatient when I paused for literally a second to put my glasses on to see the email in my diary.I accidentally called Tennessee (Grok made a mistake) when I was calling around to find someone who sounded friendly, the lady in Tennessee was so friendly and charged a fraction, availability great, no third degree. I told her how friendly, wish she were closer, she laughed with me, what a pleasant exchange.
May 19, 2025 · D TTo say I am disappointed with the service my dog has received today is a massive understatement. I called to get my itchy dog prednisone to help alleviate his constant itching and pain. Was told no problem, booked an appointment with the intention of getting said prescription. When my husband showed up, he explained how we have tried EVERYTHING to help our pup from changing his food to having an itchy dog pannel done at thia vet in Oct to making him wear t-shirts. Dr Souza didnt care. She disregarded everything my husband said and harped on the fact "it could be heartworms". Tried to say we needed another $300+ itch panel even though the last one came back clean. Proceeded to give attitude when he declined a heartworm check. Tried to take our dog to the back for his injection after insisting all this testing and frankly there was no trust she wasn't going to do tests then charge us behind our back! We go our pups medical records and WILL NOT being seeing dr Souza again
Feb 18, 2025 · Ashley AuriemmeThe blonde middle-aged woman standing on the bench is very grumpy. I'm glad I don't leave my dogs with such grumpy, low-energy people.
Jun 02, 2025 · Derya SahinI highly recommend this vet. Very friendly staff and were very kind to my cats, it gotten to the point that my cats were too comfortable and playful when visiting to go see their vet.
Feb 27, 2025 · ElizabethI really love the care and patience that East Side Veterinary Clinic pays to me and my dog, Lila. As a first time pet owner and with a brand new rescue puppy, I had a lot of questions and concerns. East Side answered every concerned phone call, answered every question during the visit, and made Lila feel like royalty walking through the door. I trust them with Lila and I'd 100% recommend anyone to take their pet to East Side Veterinary Clinic.
