Sandbank Veterinary Hospital Reviews
We just recently switched to Sandbank. Everyone at Sandbank is very helpful and friendly. Dr. Loquine is the best. We followed her from another vet. She is very informative, helpful and caring. She listens and also gives feedback when necessary. We feel very comfortable with her taking care of our cats.
Jun 18, 2025 · lynn pandolfiDr. Chelsea Marko and the whole team at Sandbank Veterinary Hospital did a great job during a 1-day DentalPalooza for a group of 7 ferrets rescued from a breeder in Canada. the Ferret Association is deeply grateful for their kindness, and for their generosity in heavily subsidizing the work. We'd definitely recommend other ferret owners consider them for their ferret's needs!
Jul 04, 2025 · LVanessa GrudenDr Marko is fantastic. We followed her from a different vets office because we liked her so much. Very personable, understanding and listens to the owners concerns. She's very gentle and thorough when caring for my 9 year old Labrador Retriever.
Apr 03, 2025 · Abigail Hull-GulottaFront staff is very friendly. No wait times and easy to book. The rest of the visit is usually a night mare.I have a very sweet puppy that gets excited and moves around a lot especially when he’s sliding on a cold metal table. They don’t let me near him to calm him down the way I know how to. Instead the vet tech wrestles him until they can do what they have to do. Last visit I came with a few minor concerns, just consulting my vet for advice or clarity. Got neither, instead just the 3rd antibiotic they’ve given me since we’ve started, for who knows what. No testing was done and saw it on my bill for another $60.As he wouldn’t stand still they said they needed to bring him into the other room to cut his nails. I’ve never heard screams and yelps coming out of him that way before. We were both pretty traumatized. If I had any luck cutting his nails by myself before this visit, that’s gone. One more thing to note is I spaced out his puppy vaccines a little far and he was due for 3 this visit. I asked if we could just do 1 per visit and I’ll come back every time(willing to pay more). Doc said best she can do is give him 2 at once today and give him his 2nd Lyme in 2 weeks because the Lyme window is longer than these other two that need to be done now before you have to restart the series. Fair point so they went ahead. At checkout the vet tech yells to the receptionist from the back “Schedule her to restart the Lyme series”. As if it went too long and none of the conversation we had in the room was valid. Basically made up to shut me up is what that felt like.Long story short every time I check out I feel this heaviness that my dogs health isn’t the priority. Nothing is ever being done as a favor for you, as they often make it seem and no at home advice other than the drugs they can sell you is ever given. My aunt is a vet and I consult with her before and after each visit and she can’t understand much of what is going on, especially the amount I pay every time.
