Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Tualatin Introduce
When a pet faces a sudden illness or injury, every minute counts. For pet owners in the Oregon region, having access to a reliable, professional, and compassionate emergency veterinary service is a critical piece of mind. The Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Tualatin (EVCOT) is a dedicated animal hospital specializing in urgent and critical care. Unlike a regular vet clinic, EVCOT is equipped and staffed to handle life-threatening situations and other serious medical issues that can arise after hours or on weekends. Their team of skilled doctors and technicians understands the stress and anxiety that come with an emergency, and they are committed to providing not only top-notch medical treatment but also genuine emotional support to both the pet and the owner. This is not a place for routine check-ups or vaccinations; it is a vital resource for those moments when your pet needs immediate attention and expert care. The clinic’s focus is on providing a seamless, stress-free experience during a crisis, ensuring that you feel supported and your pet is in the best possible hands. Their expertise in emergency situations, from treating severe injuries to stabilizing critical conditions, makes them a crucial part of the Tualatin and wider Oregon community's pet healthcare network.
EVCOT operates on a triage system, which means that while patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis, the order may be adjusted based on the severity of the pet's condition. A pet with a life-threatening or critical injury will always be seen before a patient with a less serious one. The staff is committed to providing updates and clear communication every step of the way, helping you understand your pet's condition and the treatment plan. This transparency and dedication to communication are frequently praised in client reviews, offering comfort during a terrifying time. One client, whose dog was attacked, shared that the clinic "could not have been nicer, more professional or compassionate," and reassured them that their pet "would be fine, and he is!!!" This sentiment is echoed by another review from a cat owner who stated that the staff "quite literally saved my cat’s life" and were "incredible, compassionate, professional, and deeply skilled" throughout an "incredibly difficult experience." These powerful testimonials speak to the fact that EVCOT is more than just a hospital; it is a place of hope and healing, where every life is valued and every pet is treated with the utmost care and respect. This level of compassion, combined with their advanced medical capabilities, is what makes them a trusted and indispensable partner for Oregon pet owners facing an emergency.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1During a visit to Portland to see our daughter, our 10 year old Golden-doodle was attacked by another dog while on a walk. He needed surgery to repair puncture wounds in his neck and a tear in his back. EVCOT could not have been nicer, more professional or compassionate. They took exceptional care of Leo and made sure he was comfortable during his stay. During his two follow up appointments, they treated him like their family pet! Thank you to everyone who works there. You reassured us that Leo would be fine, and he is!!!
May 14 · Lisa GaryIt would only let me give five stars, but they deserve so much more. The techs, nurses, and doctors were all incredible, compassionate, professional, and deeply skilled. Kailey, Victoria, Dr. Warren, Dr. Reza, and others whose names I unfortunately didn’t catch made an incredibly difficult experience bearable. They quite literally saved my cat’s life. Without them, Dexter wouldn’t be here. I will be forever grateful for the care, dedication, and kindness they showed every step of the way. Thank you doesn’t suffice, but thank you.
May 15 · Benjamin ButcherI don't normally do reviews but I felt the need for this one. My little angel Luna passed away at home days ago. We were frantic to find a place to get her cremated as this was 6:30 in the morning but this place was open. We rushed down to take her and they were so nice and compassionate when we were crying our eyes. They took her and promise to take of her. They said it would be about a week to get her back. I got the call 5 days later that we can come get her. We went down to go pick her up and they have us a beautiful wooden box and her paw print with her claws. They told us they were so sorry for our lost. What I didn't expect is that same night I got a card in the mail from them. Expressing their deepest condolences and also tell me Luna was very loved and cared for. I started crying because of how nice and compassionate this place is to do this for me. I will also be grateful and when I have another situation like this again, I know where and who to turn to. Thank you everyone here. I thought I was also share a picture of my little angel.
April 19 · Shanna WelchI honestly believe that the awesome group of people working here saved my dogs life last Sunday morning on 7/6/25 when he was struggling to breathe after being diagnosed with a heart murmur two weeks prior. We were panicking at 2:30 in the morning, crying over the phone. The receptionist was so extremely kind and validating of my feelings and encouraged me to bring my dog in despite the fact that he is anxious and normally needs to be sedated for vet visits. She assured me that they would be able to care for him, and that’s exactly what they did. He was having a congestive heart failure exacerbation and had to stay overnight to receive IV diuretics and oxygen. He has been doing great since leaving their facility and is acting like himself again after starting heart meds and lasix. We will forever be grateful to you all! Below is a picture of my guy feeling better!
July 14 · MichelleWow! There’s no way to get better emergency care for your pet than we got for our dog today. Thankfully, the triage found things to be normal, so we’re home. We’re on a list to be seen by a vet later today, but if things don’t worsen we won’t need to take her in. Our visit with Tyler the vet tech was very thorough, very friendly, very connected with our concerns, and extremely observant - he looked at everything twice, and overlooked nothing. The intake was similarly professional and personal, and we were not charged at all for the consult. Wow!This is the third dog we’ve brought in over the years, and today’s level of care was typical of what we’ve received before. On the occasions we actually needed to see a vet and have our dogs receive treatment, the care was expert, accurate, and humane. Even the phone consults we’ve had have been beyond stellar. I’d give this place and the staff ten out of five stars if I could. Highly recommend.
