This story exemplifies the center's commitment to honest, conservative, and appropriate medical care, a quality that is highly valued by New York pet owners.
Beyond their medical expertise, Gotham Veterinary Center is also an AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) accredited practice. This voluntary accreditation signifies that the hospital meets or exceeds rigorous standards in areas like patient care, diagnostic imaging, and facility management. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr. Carol goes above and beyond for patients. Make sure to request him for your appointments. On a scale of 1-10 he’s a 10+. Our French Bulldog is 7 years old. Which means we’ve have our fair share of emergencies, big and small, we’ve been to a number of clinics in NY & even New Jersey. Gotham Veterinary is the only clinic I’ve felt compelled to leave a review for. Great staff great doctors!
April 29 · Nigel DixonBeat Vet in NYC. Certainly the most fair and honest. Wouldn't trust any other vet with my dog.Took 8 yr old Berner to another because "recommended " for leg issues. They wanted do a 8k surgery. Went to Gotham who laughed at prognosis and said it was minor arthritis gave him some pills. Two years later 10 yr old guy been doing wonderful since.
April 28 · Jim SWent to gotham because my dog had an ear infection on the 12th and Dr. Mansfield was quite nice and accommodating and did check koko very well. So I scheduled a follow up with Dr. Bryant for a recheck on the 6th of February. Unfortunately Koko got really sick after her appointment on the 12th so I took her to Bondvet and they diagnosed her with diabetes. I started the treatment process with them but Koko wasn’t eating a lot and I tried everything to get her to eat. So when the recheck came up I told Dr. Bryant about Kokos most recent history and overall medical history just to be told that I should put her down! I felt as if she was not listening to me. I tried to show her that I had a glucose meter so that I could be taught how to use it by Dr. Bryant but every time I tried to mention it I was cut off and told that if I can’t afford Kokos treatment I should put her down. I had Kokos medication for her other illness, cushings and Koko was on insulin but she was eating so little I was scared to give her full doses. I felt so hopeless and judged for doing what I can.Anyway, we are now in Florida and Koko has eaten full meals and has been getting full doses of insulin and planning to start trilostane soon.
February 19 · yanelis olivenciaI can't say enough about Dr. Bonnie Brown and Gothom Vet. I am convinced my senior dog is alive after a crisis because of their above and beyond care. I never had to wait long to be seen, and the staff was so helpful and communicative through out the whole ordeal. I love how they would come out and talk to you (safely with masks) when I was left standing out in the cold during Covid at my last vet. Dr. Brown is knowledgeable and caring, and my doggy is still here. I am eternally grateful.
November 01 · Lynette BaioccoGotham Veterinary Center is the only place I would take my dog to in Manhattan. The front desk people are pleasant and all the Vets, assistants, nurses and other workers are skilled , smart and caring about my dog every time I take her to the center. The staff has a friendly, but knowledgeable way of caring for my pet. I also notice the individual attention each animal gets when they are looked after. My dog is 12 years old now and we have been happily going to Gotham for many years , knowing that my dog will get the best care she can get at a Veterinary office.
