Green Valley Animal Hospital - Maryland Reviews
We starting using Green Valley with our elderly dog that has since passed now we take our 2 smaller dogs for all visits. The office has a home vibe and the staff is always friendly and caring. We see one of 2 vets each time and they’re familiar with our pets rather than ex Banfield that has a different doctor every time.
Mar 24, 2025 · Rusty SmithMy dog Izzy has been a patient with Green Valley Animal Hospital since April of 2022. From day one, the veterinarians, the supporting staff, and the office employees have all been extraordinary regarding their care, concern, responsiveness, and willingness to coordinate services on Izzy's behalf. Izzy is, and has been, a very high maintenance dog but the staff at Green Valley Animal Hospital have been nearly flawless in being available to meet her treatment needs. Further, I have found that the recommendations and advice provided by each of the doctors has consistently been very effective and helpful. Finally, Green Valley Animal Hospital is not only the finest Animal Hospital that I have ever been associated with, but it is one of the most impressive facilities of any kind that I have experienced. I cannot rate the hospital's practice high enough.
Jun 24, 2025 · Brian SumerwellGreeted upon entry by a kind and helpful staff. Records were updated promptly and we were escorted to our room on time. The doctor and tech were great and handled my kitten with gentleness and love.
Apr 02, 2025 · Thomas HoltWe brought our pup in recently, and she became very scared and reactive during the visit. Despite her behavior, the entire team was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding. They took their time, made sure she felt as safe as possible, and treated her with so much compassion. It really meant a lot to us as pet parents. We’re so grateful for the care and professionalism they showed—thank you for going above and beyond!
Jun 09, 2025 · McKenzie DehautI couldn't be happier with my dogs' care at GVAH. In a time when a lot of vet practices are turning into cold, money hungry corporate vet practices, GVAH still is your caring local, hometown vet practice. All of the office staff and techs are warm, welcoming and loving. I love Dr. Amy - she has done three successful minor surgeries on my dogs in the last year as well as all of their routine care. She is thoughtful, thorough and always explains her decisions. When my Deo died suddenly, Amy just sat with me for 15 minutes in the office and we just talked. That was very compassionate. Now, there is a new puppy and she has a UTI and GVAH squeezed her in to have Dr. Amy look at her on a very busy day. That is the kind of vet and veterinarian you are looking for. The corporate vet practice would have scheduled us for the next week when they had an opening.Thank you GVAH.
