However, it is important to acknowledge that some clients have expressed significant concerns. These include allegations of "exorbitant prices," a perceived lack of thorough testing, and a tendency to use "scare tactics" to present "worst case scenarios." There have also been serious claims of misdiagnosis leading to severe consequences, such as fluid buildup being missed, and a general lack of responsiveness to ongoing medical requests, which can lead to a loss of trust regarding their diagnostic and treatment recommendations.

Harris Hill Animal Hospital Reviews
The staff is always friendly to both us and our pets. It's always a pleasant experience, even though our dogs can be a little stressed from vet visits. You can tell that everyone there really enjoys their job and even more, the animals that come in. The care they show for our pets is top notch. And their extended hours are convenient.
Mar 06, 2025 · Jeremy KellerThe only reason I am giving them a one star is because of their receptionists who are absolutely lovely. Otherwise, I wouldn't give a star rating at all. This is hands down the worst vet I have ever been to. They charge exorbitant prices, don't do actual testing that they're supposed to be doing, and seem to like using scare tactics in order to produce the worst case scenario. Every time my dogs have gone in here for anything more than a nail trim, there has been repeated anxiety attacks induced thanks to every single ailment going to worst case scenario. The second you have them feel a bump on your dog, they are yelling in your face about how aggressive you're prepared to get, if you're going to plan for palliative care or if you're going to get chemotherapy treatments, etc, when in reality the cyst is completely benign. They charged us a large fee to do a quick sonogram on our dog to see if he was retaining fluid, and told us that there was none. The vet has blown off constant requests to help him find another medication for his thyroid. Upon taking him to another vet, we were informed that he had a heart condition, had immense fluid build up, and ultimately lost him only weeks later. Other vets in the area don't have a high opinion of the place, either. I understand that things happen and that ultimately, even doctors cannot predict a lot of medical issues. However, these instances happened repeatedly here among two dogs and countless appointments. I would never recommend this vet to anyone. Save your money and possibly your pets life.
May 26, 2025 · Holly MarieHarris hill animal hospital took care my kitty Lola .. she got extremely sick on Christmas Eve and we brought her in for an emergency appointment. Unfortunately there was nothing they could do to save her so we made the decision to put her down. Harris hill and the staff there were so comforting and sympathetic. They guided us every step of the way and a few weeks after Lolas death a hand written sympathy card was sent to us signed by the entire staff. This is above and beyond anything I’ve ever seen. Highly recommend.
