International House Pet Calls Introduce
In the bustling environment of New York, the stress of taking a pet to a traditional veterinary clinic can be a significant challenge for many pet owners. From navigating city traffic to calming an anxious pet in a waiting room full of strangers, the experience can be difficult for all involved. International House Pet Calls offers a refreshing and convenient alternative, bringing professional veterinary care directly to your doorstep. Located in Staten Island, NY, this service is a valuable resource for local residents seeking a less stressful and more personalized approach to their pet's health. This article is written to provide a comprehensive and factual overview of what makes this house call veterinary service a compelling option for pet owners in the New York region.
International House Pet Calls operates on a unique model that prioritizes the comfort and well-being of the pet. By performing veterinary services in the familiar environment of your home, they aim to reduce the anxiety and fear that many animals experience during a traditional clinic visit. This can be especially beneficial for cats, senior pets, or any animal that gets stressed by car travel or encounters with other animals. The service is a full-fledged veterinary practice that simply travels to its patients, allowing for a more focused and one-on-one interaction between the veterinarian, the pet, and the owner.
The core philosophy is based on the idea that pets feel most secure and are at their best when they are at home. This environment allows the veterinarian to observe the pet’s natural behavior and to provide a more accurate and relaxed examination. While not all medical procedures can be performed in a home setting, the service is equipped to handle a wide range of common veterinary needs, ensuring that your pet receives expert care without ever having to leave the house.
International House Pet Calls is based out of 274 Hull Ave, Staten Island, NY 10306, USA. While this is the official address, the very nature of this veterinary practice means that their services are mobile. This unique approach allows them to serve a wide geographic area within Staten Island and potentially other parts of New York, bringing veterinary expertise directly to your home.
The accessibility of this service is its main selling point. Instead of you having to worry about transportation, parking, or navigating a crowded waiting room, the veterinarian comes to you. This is an invaluable benefit for pet owners with busy schedules, those with multiple pets, individuals with mobility issues, or those who have pets that are simply too anxious for clinic visits. The service eliminates the logistical challenges that often prevent timely veterinary care, making it easier for pet owners to keep up with their animal’s health needs.
The service is by appointment only, which ensures that each visit is scheduled and allows the veterinarian to dedicate ample time to your pet without the rush of a traditional clinic setting.

When considering veterinary care for your pet in New York, the decision to choose a house call service is a significant one. International House Pet Calls presents a compelling option for many reasons. The primary benefit is the reduction of stress for your pet. A vet visit in a familiar environment can make a world of difference, preventing the anxiety and fear that often accompany a trip to a clinic. This can lead to a more accurate diagnosis and a more pleasant experience for everyone.
The convenience factor is also a major draw. For busy individuals, those with limited mobility, or families with multiple pets, the ability to have a vet come to you is an invaluable time-saver and logistical solution. While the cost of a house call may be slightly higher than a traditional clinic visit due to the travel and dedicated time, the benefits in terms of convenience and reduced stress are often worth the price.
It is important to note, however, that while house call veterinary services are extremely convenient for many routine and even some surgical procedures, they are not always a substitute for a full-service, brick-and-mortar animal hospital in the event of a severe medical emergency. Conditions that require complex diagnostics like advanced imaging (CT, MRI), or immediate, round-the-clock monitoring and hospitalization, are typically best handled at an emergency hospital.
For pet owners in Staten Island and surrounding areas looking for a compassionate, personalized, and stress-free way to manage their pet's health, International House Pet Calls is a service well worth considering. The comfort of your pet is their priority, and they bring professional care right to your door.

International House Pet Calls Reviews
I don't like to complain, and I have never wrote bad reviews before, but I write it, because I want to protect people and especially their pets from dr. Naum Polonskiy. After his visit to our home and procedures he performed, my cat became completely deaf....I found my cat on the street 6 years ago. It was snowy and very cold. Somebody threw cat to the street, She was hungry, chilled and sore, and she had scales on her skin. At the veterinary clinic, she was diagnosed with Military dermatitis. With the help of properly selected veterinary food, medicine, and avoiding all possible allergens the disease was stopped and did not return for several years. But recently, the first signs of the disease began to appear again. Because every trip to veterinary clinic was very stressful for our cat, we decided to call to vet dr Naum Polonskiy, who makes visit to home. I explained over the phone all situation with our cat to dr and asked him if he could write the medicines, that our vet usually prescribed her. Dr. Polonskiy was agreed, He said, that his visit cost $60,and we scheduled an appointment .On October 29, in the evening time he came to our home. Did not paying much attention to the problem which we caused about , did not asked us any permission, without any ENT tools,in dark light, he began to examine our cat's ears (there were no complaints about the ears), and said, that he found infection in her ears. And again without our permission he opened bottles with medicines and began to flood it in cat's ears. First, he poured Aurocin ear cleanser into her ears.He poured so much liquid, that even we were really worried, he told don't worry, it's ok,right after that he poured Genitizol ointment into her ears. After all, he charged for the medicine 5-6 time more expensive.then their regular price. We wondered why? He replied:"how would I make money, or do you think that I will come to you just for $ 60?"After he left, I read on the packaging, that Genitizol is intended only for dogs and of course did not use it anymore. The next day, my cat was very depressed, and constantly shook her head, as if she wanted to shake something from her ears. When I called her, she did not respond, but I could not even imagine that she did not hear. But then I noticed that she did not react to any sounds at all. then I found online information, that Genitizol can cause deafness in dogs. I was shocked ...We called to dr Polonskiy, and said that after his medication our cat had lost hearing, he answered sarcastically "ok, your cat would be deaf". In the evening, Mr. Polonskiy brought shampoo, to us , we asked him to come in and examine our cat, but he refused. When my husband came down to pick up the shampoo, the doctor had a lot of dogs and cats in the car who barked and meowed. This vet takes sick pets from people all over the Brooklyn to his clinic and then leaves them all day long sick and hungry in the car while he goes to visits. The next day we brought a cat to our vet. After a detailed examination, he said that there was no infection in the ears. What was it? The desire of Dr. Polonsky to sell us more drugs and ignoring the possible side effects? Now it is painful to look at our cat, she is completely disoriented, looks with frightened eyes as if asking for help and does not understand what is happening to her. She is completely out of the usual mode and we do not know how to help her. But maybe this cry of the soul will help someone not to repeat our mistake and once again think about whom you trust your pets.By the way, since then, dr. Polonsky never even called and asked how our cat feels ..........
November 10 · Alla KarpovichGood dr I’m believe him. I trusted the doctor to help. This is my second time contacting. The first time they turned, he bonfire my cat and she recovered very quickly. Now I entrusted my puppy to him. Such assistance for people with disabilities is very convenient. He does everything at home. I think I correctly did that I turned to Dr. Polonsky.
