The two women at the front desk (one with multi colored died hair) and the other with brown hair. They were here Saturday, maybe their usual day. They are beyond rude. I had a 1:15PM appointment. It was 2:15PM and I had asked why I hadn’t been seen yet. They told me it was going to be a while and a woman was here who hadn’t been seen yet since 11:15AM.I told them that I thought that was very inconsiderate of my time. People have places to be. If they knew someone was here since that time and wouldn’t be seen for multiple hours, why wouldn’t they have called the other patients to let them know to come in later or to reschedule. They clearly knew this for multiple hours. They were dismissive and acted like they couldn’t care any less. Island Park Animal Hospital does this consistently. The receptionist are completely rude and Dr. Ratna is not someone who is personable and you feel as if the questions you ask her, only annoy her. The other vet who is here is great. Very personal.I can’t believe people that call themselves employees and business owners that provide a service behave like this. Terrible - Michael K.
