★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- We were visiting our niece in Columbia when the need to take our pup to a vet arose. Daisy, our dachshund had a rash and a fear of even our own vet. She would shake, cry, and defecate. We were worried it would be worse with a vet she had never seen. We had no reason to worry. We knew this as soon as we walked in. There was soft music, no other dogs, no phones ringing and we went right to the exam room. The exam room was a room with a rug, cabinet, and a scale hid by a dog bed. The wonderful assistant gave Daisy treats while she took our info. Daisy was not stressed. This continued the whole exam. Dr. Delabar sat on the floor with Daisy and talked to her as she examined her. It was the best experience for all of us. We can thank Dr. Delabar and and her wonderful assistant, whose name I can’t remember 😔. Phil and I both felt so relaxed also. Thank you so much. August 21 · Phil Perrin
- Dr. Anna Delabar is an exceptionally compassionate veterinarian who has had such a positive impact on the relationship between me and my Great Dane Barley. When I adopted Barley as a 4-month-old puppy, I discovered he had severe separation and crate anxiety.Dr. Delabar guided Barley and I through every painstaking step of this journey with a level of expertise, compassion, and persistence that I will forever be grateful for. She helped me set routines, developed medication regimens, and gave me training exercises to work on with Barley. She never gave up on helping me fine tune Barley’s medications and routines, and gave me hope during a very stressful time. Her approach was humane but realistic and I felt listened to and valued throughout the experience.Today, Barley is a completely different dog. He’s calm, secure, and happy. I have been able to taper down his medications and I can confidently leave him at home alone. If you're committed to your pet but struggling with their behavior, I strongly recommend reaching out to Dr. Delabar. She has the know-how to help anyone, from first-time owner to experienced professional. July 15 · Rebecca Czebrinski
- They were wonderful and they got me them within a day. My cat had an abscess and they were very kind and treating him. I appreciate their business a lot, and the way they treat your pets is unmatched. Thank you so much!! May 13 · Pierce Taylor
- Here is a photo of my anxious, aggressive dog, who just can’t deal with people. Unless they are the wonderful staff at Kindred, then she is happy, calm, and loved. If your pet has behavioral challenges, fear/anxiety, is a bit nervous, or you just want a totally stress free experience for them, Kindred is the place for you!! September 17 · Laura Neese
- I recently brought my two dogs, Tater and Shortstop, to Kindred Veterinary Clinic for their yearly exams, vaccinations, and heartworm tests, and I couldn’t be happier with the care they received. Dr. Delebar, Tanya, and Anna were incredibly patient and compassionate throughout the entire visit.Shortstop is a fearful dog who doesn’t like to be handled, but Dr. Delebar’s gentle approach made all the difference. They used lots of treats and distraction techniques to keep both Tater and Shortstop comfortable and unaware of what was happening. It was clear that their priority was ensuring my pups felt safe and at ease. It’s such a relief to know that the staff at Kindred truly understand and respect the needs of fearful animals, never forcing them into uncomfortable situations. The clinic’s brand-new location is absolutely gorgeous and such a refreshing change from a typical veterinary office. The space feels more like a cozy home than a clinic, which I think is a huge advantage for animals. The welcoming, home-like atmosphere surely helps reduce stress for both pets and their owners.I am beyond pleased with the level of care, thoughtfulness, and professionalism at Kindred Veterinary Clinic. Tater, Shortstop, and I will definitely be back! November 22 · Tommy Miller
