★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We’ve taken our dogs to Leesburg Vet Hospital since 2020, and have never been disappointed with a single interaction. The staff and doctors are kind and helpful, take wonderful care of our fur-babies, are excellent when it comes to explaining care options and/or concerns. We also came to them for end of life care for our two senior chihuahuas who passed in 2022 and 2023 respectively, and they were exceptionally empathetic and patient as we navigated our loss. Absolutely love this team 💛
March 10 · Valerie ScheinSince we moved to NOVA 3 years ago my cockapoo Petie has been seeing Dr Betsy Henly in this office. He’s quite a handful (to say the least) as he’s very anxious and fearful, so we were quite happy when she was recommended.Since Petie’s initial visit, she has been nothing short of Spectacular! Her care and compassion are truly above and beyond typical. He’s had to have anesthesia for grooming and a dental cleaning recently and both times she went way above and beyond for him… including taking as much time with him as needed, knowing he’s uneasy. She’s gentle, thoughtful, knowledgeable and very thorough! I know my pup is in good hands with her and her staff….They also get 5-stars!!I highly recommend!
May 27 · Steven MossShort version - great hospital with friendly staff, clear communication, nice facility, clean patient rooms, mobile app for tracking medical records.Long version - I love this vet hospital. I have taken both of my dogs here for years and the front desk staff and medical team have always been fantastic. I've always gotten great customer service from everyone in this office. They recently implemented a smartphone app that allows you to track records, weight, medication, and appointments from your phone without having to call. Even before the mobile app, the front desk staff used to email me PDF receipts from my vet visits so I could track my records and easily submit claims to pet insurance; this has gotten even easier after the mobile app, since I can go online and see records without having to call the front desk to request them.I'm always able to get an appointment, even during COVID when my friends and family complained it was difficult to get vet appointments at other places, I never had a problem getting an appointment here. I've even been able to take my dogs on Saturdays, which helps with my work schedule.I would recommend this vet office to anyone. Some doctors have come and gone in the years that I've been going here but both my dogs have always loved all the team members they have seen, whether it's been front desk staff or nurses and techs or licensed veterinarians. The only reason I have to switch vets is because I now live an hour away from this hospital due to unforeseen life changes, and one of my dogs gets anxious in the car. I have been making hour-long drives each direction for almost 2 years just to stay with this vet because I love them so much, but unfortunately it's no longer feasible.I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone in Loudoun or who doesn't mind a longer drive, I absolutely will come back to this practice if I ever move back into the area.
April 21 · Amanda NicoleI cannot recommend this place enough. Everyone is fantastic, from reception to nurses to veterinarians. We started coming here when we moved to the area 3 years ago, and while we liked all the vets we saw, I want to give a shoutout to Dr. Melberger for his care with our senior cat. He always gave us as much time as we needed and we never felt rushed. He took time to explain everything through all of his health issues and gave him the best care. We could always call with questions or for updates when we needed them. We had to put our cat down yesterday, and while it was impossibly hard, he made it as manageable as it could be. He sat with us and explained everything both to us and to our kids (3 and 5). He answered all of their questions perfectly and walked them through it in the best way. I can’t thank him and the staff enough for all of their care and support yesterday and over the past 3 years. They did everything they could to make our cat and our family as comfortable as possible during such a hard time.
December 03 · KatieNothing short of amazing… Dr Strickland and his entire staff are the best in Veterinary medicine our area has to offer (hands down). We recently added to our furry family and adopted a rescue; Strickland gave her a thorough nose to tail inspection, guided us in terms of proper preventatives, and we have her spay surgery scheduled. Our pup was at ease, and so were we because we knew she was/is in excellent hands. I’ll never trust my dog or cats with anyone else.
