Apr 07, 2025 · Kristen JohnsonOne of the best cats around! I took both of my adult cats to the vet about a month ago. Everyone was super sweet and kind. The vet made sure to explain anything and everything to me without making me feel bad about it. It turned out my one cat needed dental surgery. Within 2 weeks it was done! The staff was, again, very kind and super sweet. They called me in the morning to let me know how it would go. I got a call right before they started surgery, and another call once it had finished. I have never had such a kind vets office that was so in touch with the pets owners. Love it here!
Mar 24, 2025 · Kylie F.We have been with Old Mill Veterinary Hospital for around 20 years and 14 pets. The staff goes above and beyond to care for our pets from another brand new puppy, special needs adults to the last goodbye with compassion, humor, and always an attention to the details. They remember my furbabies' names ( currently we have 8) and shower them with attention. I have never been disappointed. I would highly recommend.
Dec 04, 2024 · Cynthia AmbsI've taken my dog to Old Mill Veterinary Hospital for at least 12 years. I've lived in at least 24 different places in my life and this place is the best veterinary care I've had for my pets. The care they get is exceptional, professional, and compassionate for both animals and humans. Highly recommend Old Mill veterinarians.
Jun 27, 2025 · Dyan BielewiczI’m torn in this review. I like everyone here and I think they are persistent and great. My problem is that I’ve brought my dog for stomach issues several times. They have checked her, found her “senior” issues. But they’ve still not found the belly issue. I recently brought her for the usual “dry, hard, tiny poops with gassy, painful, belly at night. I feel as though they’ve basically blown me off by just shrugging it off as “she is old” and “it’s normal”. But nothing about it was normal and I explained it comes and goes. I’ve even questioned her prescrip food. They said it was fine and she is okay, over and over and over. I understand trial and error. But this is just far too simple for that.I brought her to another vet a few weeks ago. They had me switch her to fresh food. Lo and behold, The hard tiny poops have stopped. Food. The very thing I asked about and was blown off. And on a fresh diet that issue is gone.So I called the office to tell them and responded to one of their very repetitive appointment emails. I merely let them know that I was disappointed over the repeated situation. They’ve not bothered to reach out. I would NEVER to that to someone-especially involving the life of their child.People count on your care to their pets. For some of us, our pets are all we have. How our lives carry on depends on you. It’s quite irresponsible to not only incorrectly diagnose, but to have to beg you to acknowledge a situation is honestly ridiculous. Our dog nutrition is above all and their health depends on it. I hate to even think the time I’ve removed from her life pushing a subscription on her for vets who repeatedly say it’s not the problem-to later learn that it’s the problem. But I guess it’s okay that you guys aren’t the ones who have to live with it either. No. I have to do that. Thanks.
