Lighthouse Veterinary Allergy & Dermatology specializes in advanced diagnostic and treatment services for a variety of small animal skin conditions. As a specialty service, they focus on complex cases that often require a more in-depth approach than a general practice might provide. Their expertise allows them to address issues that have been ongoing for a long time or have not responded to previous treatments. The goal is always to provide long-term relief and improve your pet's overall quality of life by accurately diagnosing the underlying problem.
Some of their key services include:
- Comprehensive veterinary allergy and dermatology diagnostic and treatment services.
- Advanced testing to pinpoint the specific cause of allergies, such as an allergy panel.
- Long-term solutions for infections and skin conditions, including the prescription of specialized serums and medications.
- Management of chronic conditions affecting the skin, ears, and paws.
- Prescription medication and medication refills.
- Collaboration with your primary veterinarian through a veterinary referral system.
- Guidance on pet insurance and handling of related paperwork.
Because they are a specialized clinic, they often receive referrals from other veterinarians who need a specialist's opinion on a particularly challenging case. This collaborative approach ensures that your pet receives a seamless continuum of care, with the best minds working together to find a solution. The clinic's focus on a limited but complex range of services allows them to be true experts in their field, staying up-to-date on the latest research and treatments for allergic and dermatological conditions.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr. Reeder and his assistant treated our Molly wonderfully. They were very concerned and caring. The doctor ran an allergy panel and prescribed a serum that will help alleviate Molly's itching. Thank you all for your care.
August 26 · Howard FlaxerMy cat had a horrible sore on his face, I had past vets just give a shot without any long term fix or real diagnosis. I was finally referred to Lighthouse, and they did thorough testing and offered a long-term solution for my cat’s infection. My cat’s face almost immediately started healing after starting treatment. I am so thankful for this Vet!!! Would recommend over and over.
August 07 · Ashley HarmanI had such a wonderful experience yesterday with the entire staff. Dr. Reeder was amazing & spelled out everything I needed to know. My cat had to have biopsies done & it made me feel better knowing that she was in great hands. I had to drive an hour to the office, but it was absolutely worth it to have such a lovely staff take care of my fur baby. I could not have asked for a better experience.
August 29 · Skylar Alexander-BrownThey love my dog and it shows! Stella gets the best care. I wished Dr Reeder and his staff would take me as a patient!! Claire and Annie are great! They are all so responsive and Dr Reeder is amazing. Recommend a million trillion times over!
July 01 · TL LovellMy visit w lighthouse was excellent! Claire at the front desk is a joy! She is so friendly and welcoming. This continues with the vet techs and of course, Dr Reeder. They are kind, knowledgeable, and not at all pushy. I have been to several other vet specialist and I would say this has been the best experience for me and my pup.
