The landscape of veterinary care has evolved, with many practices becoming part of larger corporate entities. While these can offer certain advantages, many pet owners in Texas seek a more personal touch, a practice where the veterinarians know their pets by name and truly understand their individual needs. Lincoln Heights Animal Hospital embodies this traditional, client-focused approach. They believe that providing excellent veterinary medicine goes hand-in-hand with fostering strong relationships built on trust, transparency, and a shared love for animals. Their focus on high-quality care at a reasonable price, delivered by a team that genuinely cares, makes them a standout choice for those who value a more intimate and dedicated veterinary experience.
Lincoln Heights Animal Hospital is ideally situated at 7510 Broadway, San Antonio, TX 78209, USA. Lincoln Heights Animal Hospital Reviews
Vets, like so many other places, have gone corporate, but not Dr. Radicky’s practice. He resists the tide because he knows the results (and prices) are better for our pets and for our peace of mind. I’m so grateful for the quality of care everyone delivers from the front desk to the assistants. My fur baby is happy, too.
Mar 29, 2025 · CamilleThis is my vet! I always bring my 3 dachshunds here and they receive excellent care. One of my babies recently had an intestinal partial blockage from eating mulch and the Doctor was so attentive and caring. He even came in thr next day and it was his day off to check on her. I couldn't be more grateful for his excellent care. My only negative is that the parking lot is small but I've always been able to park because of how they stagger patients. They are also closed in Sat and Sun so be prepared for that.
Jun 03, 2024 · Stephanie DavenportDr. Everheart saved my dog's life.Lincoln Heights Animal Hospital fit me in as a walk-in when my 15-year-old Shar Pei mix was not acting herself. Instead of writing her off as old, Dr. Everheart took his time asking questions, doing a thorough assessment, explaining his thoughts, going over options, and making the most cost-effective and important decisions. The labs he deemed most important revealed an infection that needed antibiotics, which most definitely saved her life. He also prescribed her 3 days of pain medication that alleviated her suffering, a much-needed relief for me. The workup and treatment were exactly what was needed and nothing extravagant or unnecessary. He also talked with me twice after our visit to check on how she was doing. My baby girl is now on the road to recovery for however much longer this life has in store for her. Thank you Dr. Everheart and Lincoln Heights Animal Hospital!
Aug 13, 2024 · Elizabeth ClappWe saw Dr. Radicke for our cats for over 20 years. The quality of care used to be excellent and our relationship with him was very good. However, in recent years we have been very disappointed in the quality of care provided. Dr. Radicke was once a friendly and skilled vet. His demeanor has changed. Now he's irritable, and he doesn't seem to have the same level of skill he once had. We hope he will consider retiring and passing his clinic on to a new owner. We had to move our three cats to a new vet hospital and have been much happier there.
Mar 18, 2025 · Mara HudockSo grateful for this amazing vet hospital. Long story short I had to bring my dog in on a Friday, Monday, and Tuesday as they monitored my pet and Dr. Radicke even gave me his number to call him on both the Saturday and Sunday in between that time. He walked me through monitoring her for symptoms over the weekend.Between both Dr. Radicke and Dr. Everheart we’ve had exceptional care like I’ve never had before in my lifetime of owning dogs. They don’t try to overcharge you and you’re able to get in ASAP if your pet needs immediate attention. They really care and although my dog River has been to the vet more than she wants recently…I can even tell she trust them examining her when she’s there.
