Meredith Place Veterinary Emergency Hospital Reviews
This weekend, we rushed our 6-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog, Milli, to Meredith Place Veterinary Emergency Hospital after she unknowingly consumed a poisonous mushroom. We had no idea what had happened until she suddenly became unable to walk and started seizing. The incredible team at MPVEH took Milli in immediately, and without a doubt, saved her life. If it weren’t for the swift action, expertise, and genuine compassion of Dr. Angel and her team, we would be telling a very different story. From the bottom of our hearts — thank you. We will be forever grateful to this amazing team of doctors for giving us more time with our girl.
Jun 23, 2025 · Joycelyn LagasseI brought my cat in on Memorial Day (May 26) since he seemed to have not been feeling good for a couple days. The lady on the phone was super sweet and when we arrived she already knew who we were and had us checked in fast! The vet tech we started with was kind, passionate, and seemed to really care about my pet and his symptoms. All of a sudden here comes the vet. She was rude, rushed through explaining to me about what was going on, and every time I voiced a concern she put her finger up to stop me, told me she’s still talking, and then never answered any questions. She was in and out in about 2 seconds and it just didn’t seem like she really cared at all. I understand if you have other pet patients who also require care, but I’m paying to be here as much as everyone else and it felt as though it was an inconvenience to her to treat my pet. Unfortunately won’t be going back here until the receptionist and tech are running the place. They were kind, compassionate women.
May 27, 2025 · Molly BellMy 12 year old pup was in a dog fight. I thought for sure he was going to have to be put to sleep. I went there as a referral from my primary vet because they had no openings. They were so gentle and assessed everything and made different recommendations. Thankfully my pup is back to jumping and playing like before the attack. I cant thank them enough for not jumping to the let's put him down idea.
Jun 08, 2025 · Doreen BallouThis was my second cat that needed to go to the Meredith Place Veterinary Emergency Hospital. From the initial phone call to the check-out process, the receptionist put me at ease and had me smiling. The Vet Assistant was incredibly kind and showed true compassion toward my elderly cat, with a good dose of humour. (for the record, to my cat... SHE is the one who took our temperature down there... no matter what she said!). The Vet was impressively knowledgeable, and we appreciated her matter-of-fact style. When you're at an emergency Vet, you need information and facts quickly. Seeing her think through options and eliminations in real time was very impressive. She gave sound advice and was very clear about what I needed to do next for my cat and my follow-up with his regular Vet. At an Emergency Vet, they see most of us in panic mode. It's got to be a really hard job to know when to express empathy, when to give hard facts, and when it's okay to crack a joke. Both times I had to go, I really appreciated their professionalism and joy in a stressful job.
Jun 28, 2025 · Annora ConwayWe have been bringing our dogs to Meredith Place Veterinary since 2021. When our dogs need emergency care and we can't see our regular Vet, this place is our go-to. They are so patient and kind. Everyone is so polite. Most times the wait is very minimal. I love how they discuss the plan on what will happen next and you are never surprised with the bill. They are very upfront. Our female always chooses to have issues at the wrong time of the day but we always have peace of mind when we have to take her in. They also give our regular vet a heads up as to what happened so they are aware when we call for a follow up. Thank you Meredith Place for all the care you have given and will give to our Bella and Max!
