Urgent Care and Sick Pet Exams: For non-life-threatening but time-sensitive issues, they offer same-day appointments and walk-in services. This is perfect for when your pet is ill with symptoms like shaking, lethargy, or other "flu-like" conditions and their regular vet is closed. They provide thorough sick pet exams to diagnose the issue and begin treatment promptly.
Routine Wellness and Preventive Services: Beyond urgent care, the clinic is a full-service animal hospital providing essential preventive care. This includes routine surgeries like spaying and neutering, as well as comprehensive vaccination programs to protect your pet from common diseases. They also provide microchip implantation, a simple and effective way to ensure your pet's safety.

This is a significant advantage, as it means they are prepared for a wide range of situations, from the unexpected to the life-threatening, providing a higher level of care than a standard wellness clinic.
Same-Day and Urgent Care Availability: The model of "urgent care" is a major highlight. It bridges the gap between a regular veterinary appointment (which can have long wait times) and a costly emergency room visit. Pet owners can get their animals seen on the same day for pressing issues, providing peace of mind and timely treatment.
Comprehensive Communication: Customers consistently praise the clinic for their detailed communication. A key feature is the detailed summary provided after each visit, which allows pet owners to review and understand their pet's diagnosis and treatment plan at their own pace. This is complemented by follow-up calls from the doctors, who genuinely care about their patients' well-being and are available to answer any questions.
Holistic and Proactive Approach: As highlighted in customer reviews, the clinic doesn't just treat the immediate problem. They take a holistic approach, looking for underlying issues that might have been missed. The story of the dog with the serious heart condition demonstrates their ability to be thorough and proactive, which can be life-saving.
Compassionate and Caring Staff: The team is noted for being "caring and loving towards the animals" and for making pet owners "feel better just knowing they are there for guidance and support." This personal, empathetic approach is a core part of the clinic's identity and is why so many clients recommend them so highly.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My dear animals have had a rough go of it over the last year and My Pets Vet and Urgent Care were there for them through it all. They are ALL so caring and loving towards the animals that come through their door and you can tell it isn’t just a job, they truly love what they do. They also make me feel better just knowing they are there for guidance and support whenever my babies need them. I couldn’t recommend them more. I tell everyone I can and know to please go there, you won’t be sorry.
March 07 · Gina SolisI can’t say enough good things about this place—they’ve been incredibly helpful to both me and my dog.I actually ended up here by accident. One Sunday morning, my dog woke up shaking and lethargic—it seemed like she had something similar to the flu. Our regular vet was closed on Sundays, and my girlfriend had heard good things about My Pet’s Vet, so we decided to take her there. I’m so thankful we did. Not only did they treat what turned out to be a bug, but they also identified a serious heart condition that our regular vet had missed—despite having seen her just a couple of weeks prior (that part was so upsetting). Dr. Abolnik connected us to the necessary specialists, all of whom were phenomenal. My little girl hasn’t lost her spunk and is on track to outlive the life expectancy estimate for her diagnosis! One thing I absolutely love is that they write a detailed summary after each visit. I’m not in the medical field, so a lot of things can go over my head when I hear it initially, but the summaries give me the chance to review everything at my own pace and look up anything I want to better understand.Everyone at My Pet’s Vet has been amazing—from the doctors and nurses to the front desk staff. I even got a follow-up call from the doctor a few days after our first visit, just to check in and see if I had any questions or needed help with anything.I can’t express how much I appreciate My Pet’s Vet❤️
August 01 · KyleI had the best experience with my 7 week old lab, Goose. It had been a rough day for us, and things quickly took a turn for the best shortly after stepping foot into My Pet’s Vet. I had called ahead to check the wait for an urgent care walk-in (as I was hitting hour 3 and was told it would be another 5+ hours at the other emergency vet) and after explaining the situation, the front desk gal eased my nerves and said they could fit Goose in right away. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with open arms and taken back to the exam room within minutes. I cannot say enough good things about the front desk, the tech, and the doc herself. I’m not one to write reviews, but it was hands down the best experience I’ve had with a vet/urgent care. I really can’t thank My Pet’s Vet enough for taking care of my baby and giving him the attention and care he needed for a speedy recovery.
January 21 · hunter smithI got Max at 10 weeks and chose My Pet’s Veterinary Urgent Care and Wellness based on a recommendation. I was very pleased with the care given on his first visit and will continue taking him there going forward.
August 12 · Charlene StumpfWe had been using this clinic for a long time even before the change of ownership. The previous vet was very reasonable and our pets were well taken care of. Before I took my dog in for a rabies shot, I looked on their website for pricing and couldn't find any info. When I went in for the appt and asked about it, they told me it was $95. I couldn't believe how expensive it was when I know the other clinics charge around $50. Way overpriced. If you are using this clinic, don't make a mistake like I did. Ask for estimates before.
