Dr Hannah Cox is a amazing vet she saved my 15-year-old cat's life after my cat attacked a raccoon that was trying to come into my house. my cat really fought for her life and she had to have her front leg amputated with other injuries that were taken care of by Dr Cox and her amazing staff. I would highly recommend Norwichtown Veterinarian Hospital . everybody was so caring and loving. I would like to thank all the staff who took care of my cat feline.
May 27, 2025 · Cathy CaronFinding a new vet in the area was super important to me, as I want to make sure my girl is in the best care. I have a 1.5yr old lab mix who is generally healthy, but I wanted to make sure I found somewhere I know would get her in if she was sick/having an emergency. The people at the front desk were very kind and welcoming! As a new patient, they helped me through the "intake" process of filling things out and making sure they had her records. The office itself, as well as the grounds, were very clean and well kept. I saw a lot of reviews of people talking about high prices, so I honestly figured I would be going in and spending a ton of money. That was not the case! I would say that Norwichtown vet is very well priced, especially compared to other places. My girl got 5 vaccinations, microchipped, stool test, and the exam and it was not nearly as much as I expected it to be. And they gave me a complimentary flea/tick/heartworm prevention for one month as well. I am very impressed and happy with my decision to bring my girl here!Wait times to get in as a new patient were not long either. I believe I booked about two weeks out, which is amazing. Wait times when we got to the vet were not long either, as soon as we got there, we were in a room and the tech was with us. Again, very impressed. Will definitely be taking my girl here from now on!Thank you to all of the vets, techs, receptionists, etc. at Norwichtown Vet!
Jan 18, 2025 · Shelby WajerI was referred to this Veterinary Hospital by my breeder who had used them for 25 Years. What a disappointment, and worst experience I have ever had at a vet. From the time I walked in with my pregnant Frenchie till the time I left with two puppies, it was only nervousness and anxiety, and heartbreak. Not One associate has any compassion at the establishment. They are all just “matter of fact”. I had a Frenchie ready to give birth any moment and the medical assistant brought in paperwork and told me they would not start surgery until they had $2000 in hand. I had $1600 with me because my told me that’s how much it would be…I asked if they could bill me the additional $400 and they said NO. No $2000 on spot , no surgery to begin! Next I had to sign a paper if my did did not survive the C-Section. (Probably standard) but the medical assistant went on to say that I was told not to breed my dog by a previous vet that worked there because of her breathing!( My breeder had talked with that particular vet before breeding began and established she just had anxiety when visiting the vet! One of my breeders were sitting with me and asking how the Frenchie was doing? He replied Not good, Not good! They all put me in a horrifying panicked situation . Few minutes later someone came out and said there was two girls and a boy born, but the boy was born with a cleft pallet , and kept walking. No compassion, no telling us that we would have to make a decision with the pup, nothing! Next we were trying to make a decision as what to do with the pup, and the medical assistant walked by and said “I’ll take him. I have rehabilitated before” I did not want to euthanize him; I wanted to give him a chance to survive, so I agreed to let her adopt him. She never gave any kind of reassurance that she would give him the best life possible and try to rehabilitate him. I had no choice but to give him up to her because I did not have the manpower to rehabilitate him myself. Puppies are now ready to go snd I had a pet carrier. I worker said “ is that for the pups?” I said “no,this is for the mother.”” My breeder told me you send the pups home in a box with a nice warm glove and towel” She said, NO WE DON’T DO THAT! I replied, “ Well I just didn’t mske that up, I was told that by someone that has been dealing with this hospital for 25 years” She then responded . “Well I guess we can find you one.” Check out time comes, and now I owe another $184. I asked if it could be billed… Answer was No, it had to be paid on spot. Puppies and mother were sent home with antibiotics . Called and asked why pups were sent home with antibiotics. Was told because of mothers breathing problem! Mother didn’t have breathing problem. She has anxiety when going to vet!!!!Never felt so anxious myself, so sad about my boy pup I had to leave, and do angry as to how I was treated!!! Never again!!! And lastly we got home and I had a boy and a girl, NOT TW0 GIRLS ( and a boy left behind)LIKE THEY SAID!!
May 06, 2025 · Lisa SwansonWe started coming here a year ago at the recommendation of another Frenchie family. We had previously used on base for our dogs but wanted to get them more established with an off-base vet. At first, they were great. In the last few months everything went down hill fast. The inconsistent information between who you talk to at the time is mind-blowing . There on a Tuesday for heart guard test, asked about scheduling spay, told all set to schedule however we had to look at calendar first, called next day and was told had to make appointment with vet first. This is only one of many inconsistencies. About a month before THEY GAVE US THE WRONG DOSAGE for our other dogs allergy medicine. If it was a different type of medicine and we didn’t know what the pill looked like it could have killed our dog. They were very “oops” about it and in no way tried to remedy the situation besides telling us I needed to drive the 25 minutes back to get the correct pills. Within 30 minutes of getting off the phone with them yesterday we have scheduled with a new vet for care and have notified our friends who do go there that something is amiss with this vet all of a sudden.
Apr 03, 2025 · Lauren KhaderMy kitty was attacked by an unknown animal Thursday night. She did not eat or drink all thru Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and into Monday morning. I called the clinic late Sunday night and left a message asking if they could see my kitty first thing Monday. I drove to the clinic at 7:30 am and waited...hoping they would be able to see her. At 7:50 i got a call telling me to bring her right in. They took immediate action to save my kitty. I am so very thankful for people like you folks at the clinic that truly care about animals. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.Signed..KitKat and KitKat's owner!!!
