Old York Veterinary Hospital Reviews
It takes a very special person to be in this field. Dr. Campbell's knowledge and her love and compassion for the care and health of animals is why I have been bringing my pets to her for nearly 10 years.
Jun 10, 2025 · STN ConsignmentDr.Campbell is brilliant. She has been the most compassionate and knowledgeable veterinarian, taking exceptional care of my dog for over 8 years. Through the ups and downs, she was always there with thoughtful advice, expert care, and an unmatched level of empathy. As my dog aged and faced health challenges, Dr. Campbell provided not just medical expertise but a genuine kindness that made a tough time a little easier. Her dedication and love for animals are truly unparalleled. If you're looking for a vet who will treat your pet like family, Dr. Campbell is the one! Her staff is really friendly and helpful as well.
Apr 05, 2025 · aimee petersI have no clue how this establishment has so many positive reviews. Dr. Campbell told me my dog had Mast cell cancer on a tumor on her hind leg. Mast cell is extremely aggressive and spreads through lymph knodes rather quickly. To get the sample from my dog, her son (Doug I think?) held my Maggie down so aggressively she bit her tongue and was bleeding. I should add that they absolutely refused to see her unless she was muzzled. She was thrashing around, literally so scared and all he did was lay on her until the doc was done getting what she needed. To say it was difficult to watch would be an understatement.I went to Delaware Valley to have her mass looked at and they wanted to gather another sample. The experience there was completely different. There was no muzzling. No thrashing. No treating my dog like a pitbull because, let's face it, my dog was 100% treated differently because of her breed. I absolutely know that she was. When I got the results back from Delaware Valley they told me there wasn't a single mast cell in the sample they gathered!! I had the mass removed as well as a smaller one that had formed and both of them biopsied. The biopsy for the original mass came back as a rare cancer but can't spread even though the likelihood of it growing back after removal is high. Second was benign.Dr. Campbell is the most unenthusiastic, monotonous veterinarian I have ever met. She doesn't simplify terms so that you can understand, she doesn't offer comfort. And her son Doug doesn't seem qualified to be handling anyone's pets, not with how he treated my dog. Don't bring your pets here, you'll be doing them a favor. Also, do not contact me about this review. I will not answer. How you treated my sister when she worked at reception tells me everything I need to know about this "practice". You're all a bunch of bully's.
Nov 23, 2024 · Amber LunaDr. Campbell is hands down the most knowledgeable and attentive vet I’ve ever been to. We’ve taken my childhood pets to her, and now I take a cat of my own! She always knows what to do and helps to make me feel comfortable too. Would recommend this practice to anyone!
May 15, 2024 · ADr. Campbell is the best. She is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. The atmosphere in the office is welcoming and relaxing. Dr. Campbell explains everything and you are with your pets the entire time and she never rushes. The receptionist and vet techs are great. My pets react very well to the visit which is something that never happened at my prior vet. It's a pleasure bringing my dog and cats to Old York.
