Onion River Animal Hospital Reviews
Love this place so much. They are so good to us and our cats always. Bri has helped us two times in a row and she is so helpful and informative. She also always keeps our expenses in mind and offers affordable options while making sure we feel like our cats are in good hands. Our cats are healthy and receive quick treatment, and we have had to use urgent care 3 times so far. They are lovely and gifted us cat toys to compensate for our long-ish wait time this most recent trip. Worth the wait.
Jun 06, 2025 · Miranda Skinner (Owen)We have taken our three dogs two onion River. A lab, a beagle , and a Pomeranian. We have gotten high quality care and advice from the staff there. Doesn’t really matter who we see the level of care is excellent.Would never even think of going to another of that
Feb 22, 2025 · Robert AlfordThe entire staff at Onion River Animal Hospital were just absolutely fantastic to deal with. Our cat D'arty, had an ear infection and was in about 5 times over 10 days. We were just blown away with the care from the doctors, staff and even reception. Doctors Hannah Flynn and Laura Quinn and Josh the technician were just the best and communicated with us super clearly and helped not only our cat, but also us to feel better and more confident. We really appreciated the care and concern for our elderly cat - if we lived in the area, they would be our regular vet without question. Thank you again!
Jul 01, 2025 · Ian O'TierneyEvery time I’ve been to ORAH, no matter which vet or tech I’m seeing that day, they have consistently provided a compassionate, humane, and trustworthy experience through fear-free handling and ethics. I cannot emphasize enough how much of a difference it’s been going to this clinic. My dog has consistently been terrified at vet visits, so much that she’ll shake and shut down completely. However with the support and flexibility that ORAH has provided, she’s been accepting of cuddles and treats and has made markedly visible progress even after just a few months. If your dog gets nervous at the vet, they provide a ton of support and make a huge effort to make the experience positive for your dog. Even small details are so meaningful and show the care and thoughtfulness of the staff. Instead of labeling your dog as “fearful” when making a treatment plan, the language they use reflects the goals for the visit. They refer to them as a “fear-free dog” instead — as in, we will use fear-free protocols to make this experience as positive as possible. And on the human side of things, I’ve never felt rushed or pressured into treatment, everyone’s been up-front about our options and it’s clear they want what’s best for my dog. I’ve found the pricing to be comparable to other vet clinics in the area—but at ORAH, they’ll spend twice as much time if your dog needs it, so the value for the appointment is incredibly high. They offer an online pharmacy that can ship to your house, which is very nice.Overall, it’s clear that the staff here put a TON of effort into making your pet as comfortable as possible, and their work improves the lives and welfare of so many animals. Special shoutout to Dr. Bradley and Lisa for making Senga feel more comfortable than she’s ever been at the vet, right from our first appointment. Thank you for everything you do!
