★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have been taking all of my animals here for the past 7 years (at least) . They have always been nothing but kind, informative, and supportive in every aspect. From puppy checks, to well checks, to figuring out the source of seizures in my heeler, taking care of my sweet Aspen through cancer and making her end of life as comfortable as humanly possible. Then recently starting care on our little Golden Miller. Over the years I have had the pleasure to have formed a personal relationship with Dr.Woods, along with his talented team and would go nowhere else. The saying goes “you get what you pay for” and if you’re like us our pets are a part of the family, you pay for the best and you get the best.
May 11 · Dylan SimmonsI cannot give Dr. Woods a good enough review. We have brought our dog Roger in here since we first moved to Chattanooga last December. Roger had an unknown lump on his neck which a previous veterinarian had misdiagnosed. Dr. Woods was very knowledgeable and explained what our options would be for Rogers best quality of life. Roger as well as ourselves have been treated with so much compassion here. Dr. Woods and his staff treat him like their own. There is a reason Dr. Woods has been awarded Chattanoogas Best for three consecutive years. Thank you Ooltewah Veterinary Hospital!
November 16 · Aimee BannisterDr. Woods and his staff are amazing. We had to say goodbye to our first baby months ago and Dr. Woods did everything he could to help us keep her comfortable in those last moments.Just thought I would share some pictures of our Maya, an eight year old Rottweiler, that was part of our family. This was her last day on earth..As the time came to take her in, we all were very emotional. I’ve never had such a personal experience with a vet before. His words were beautiful as she passed over that rainbow bridge. We all laid in the floor with her crying our eyes out and praying for our sweet girl.Thank you Dr. Woods for everything you do! We are so blessed to find you and will continue to come back with all our animals. Your career is your passion and it shows very well!
October 24 · Rachael GarrettWhen my little cockatiel Clementine started acting sickly, I panicked because her previous vet wasn’t doing this type of client anymore and I know there are few bird vets in the area. I spent Good Friday afternoon calling every vet online and many of them recommended Dr. Woods. Even though they were full, his receptionist Dana kindly texted me some more options, none of which were available. Clem continued to worsen and I was afraid she wouldn’t be alive by Monday, but thank God she was. I called this office and even though his schedule was full, Dana got me a walk in appointment for the afternoon. And what an appointment it was, starting with the sweet vet tech Christian. Then, if you can imagine Dr. Doolittle come to life, Dr. Woods calmed me down as he examined Clem and explained what he thought was going on. Even though Clem had improved, I still received a thorough education in the situation and how I could hopefully prevent it from happening again. To say I was greatly relieved is an understatement and I am thrilled to have found a wonderful vet, along with his support staff, for Clementine, the best vet I have ever been to by far!
April 21 · Robin ChurchHow to express our true gratitude and appreciation for Ooltewah Veterinary Hospital and the staff goes far beyond words. Dr. Woods expertise, knowledge and compassion for his clients (pet owners and their companions, alike) exceeds any expectations and the words above definitely extends among his staff as well. Skye’s care through his visits, and Maddi’s too, when she was still here, were always made comforting and calming, as they were extremely anxious pups.Sadly, We recently had to say goodbye to our sweet little fur boy, Skye, and while it was an extremely difficult time, the staff and Dr. Woods exemplified true loving care and support, throughout the entire process. They did everything imaginable to comfort us as well as our sweet boy. Obviously, many tears were shed, as to be expected, but tears were shed by Dr. Woods, along with some of the staff. The same can be said when we lost sweet Maddi a couple years ago.We simply can’t thank Dr. Woods and his entire staff for all that they do. The knowledge and expertise, the compassion and genuine, loving care for our sweet babies is truly appreciated and we are forever grateful! With much love,Jill, Stacy, Skye and Maddi
