Paradocs Animal Hospital Reviews
I called today as I needed urgent help for my yorkipoo as my current hospital (won't mention the name) was unable to assist even with multiple locations under their wheelhouse.I was greeted promptly and courteously by the staff at Paradocs who treated me and my puppy like we had been coming for years. They were extremely busy (week of July 4th) and yet I felt like we received their complete attention and patience to our puppy and situation as though we were there only client of the day!McKenzie and Cathy (I'm probably not spelling correctly and I apologize for this) absolutely CRUSHED the customer service and we will definitely be switching to this hospital!!!!When you can trust the front of the house you know the vet techs and doctors are amazing as well. Positive attitude, dedication and true professionalism are not lost in 2025 with this wonderful group at Paradocs!!!!Rating: 12/10 - Beyond exceptionalThank you again McKenzie and Cathy
Jul 01, 2025 · Byron PenningtonWe saw Dr. Riggs for our appointment the last time and a newer veterinarian this time. Both were wonderful and answered all our questions. Both my dogs were good with them and I have a fearful dog, so even though she was shaking, they were excellent with her. My other dog felt comfortable there, getting belly rubs while waiting for a lump to be aspirated. I never feel rushed here either. The veterinarians always make sure everything is answered. My one dog was in a lot of pain from having a TPLO and CCL surgery on both hind legs, that Paradocs performed. The doctor gave us samples of Galliprant, for osteoarthritis, and some other medication to try on her. When we tried it out that day, my dog perked up. The next day, it was as if we had reversed the clock on her aging. My 9 year old dog was acting like a puppy again! She really knew what my dog needed without a ton of work-up. I encourage you to ask for an in person appointment if that is important to you because otherwise, they just come out and get your dog to be evaluated by a doctor and then returned with a vet tech. It's hard to ask pertinent questions that way for us, at least. If it's just immunizations, I do that with a tech appointment, and it's a little less expensive, but I like to talk to the vet. Book early if you can because they are so busy that if your dog is really sick, you must call in at 8am in the morning to get a same day appointment, which is a little more expensive, too, but that's IF they can get you in. I've had to go to another vet once because they couldn't get me in, and my dog needed antibiotics. Overall, I would recommend Paradocs to anyone. They are a wonderful team.
May 17, 2025 · BeckyMade an appointment and got one fast the next day. We're new down here. First visit, was so clear about the concerns I shared my concerns about a lump she has, a split toe nail on both sides and other nails too long. They said they they would check for infection and decide what to do and do the nails.. Her nails are black and I can't see to good and she fights us. She was hurting. I sent the old man in with our dog. They did nothing with her nails, didn't look at her bump even though they read the concerns. When he got back I called to see what happened. They said he didn't ask for her nails done and he didn't show them the bump. WTH?? Said she had arthritis gave her meds and said come back in in a week for an X-ray. How is she supposed to get out of pain walking with some bad nails one other toe twisted from a long nail and heal? I asked why they wouldn't do her nails or even suggest it if he didn't ask but her appointment was made for that. How could they let her walk out like that. I'm in tears and will never go back. They didn't care one bit about her. Now we have to find a real veterinary that cares and start all over again. No wonder they were easy to get in. I thought the reviews were good until I had to leave mine. Going to start taking her 2 hours back home for now on. I'm afraid to get anywhere else down here if this is the standard care. So disappointed and I'm in disbelief they left my dog like that. I don't even know if she's really has sudden arthritis, it could be the the nails having her in pain. We'll have to find out soon elsewhere. Never going back there.
May 22, 2025 · April AtheyWe have been going to Paradocs Animal Hospital for years and have always been pleased with their service and knowledge.Today we saw Dr. Riggs and her vet tech, Steven. Both were extremely professional, very explanatory and gave us a multitude of options for treating our dog. Dr. Riggs went above and beyond explaining everything my dog was going through, thoroughly checked her out and told me what to watch for. My dog is experiencing osteoarthritis from two hind leg surgeries that we also had performed by Paradocs, and some age and anxiety related issues. Dr. Riggs took extra time with us and I left completely in awe of her knowledge and willingness to treat all of my dog's problems even though it was just a wellness exam with a vaccination. She even provided us with samples of medication, along with a price list for the medications, to see which would work best for our dog. We couldn't be happier and will continue to go to Paradocs with my other fur babies. They are exceptional!
