RUN! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PER HERE! This is NOT a good vet. My healthy toy poodle is no longer alive at the hand of the vet. Learn from my mistake and DO NOT risk the life of your pet here. There was an accident during what I was assured was going to be a simple procedure. I got a call that my dog was not going to make it an hr after dropping her off completely healthy and fine. I get to the office to see a man I have never seen before standing over the body of my lifeless dog. The equipment looked like it was from 1970. I will live with the regret of trusting Dr. Rao every day of my life. Save yourself and your pet. This place SHOULD NOT be in business. - Selina Fonseca

What is worth choosing?

Choosing the right veterinary hospital is a deeply personal decision, and it is clear that Park View Veterinary Hospital has garnered strong, and at times, conflicting opinions. On one hand, many pet parents have found a trusted partner in this practice, praising the staff's knowledge and compassion. A client, grateful for the care their little Chihuahua received, described the staff as "amazing" and "truly love what they do," highlighting a positive and supportive experience. This speaks to the level of care and personal attention that many clients feel their pets receive. The wide range of services, including cutting-edge options like stem cell therapy and convenient on-site facilities like the in-house lab, are significant benefits for a local New Jersey pet owner seeking comprehensive care. The commitment to accessibility is also a clear positive, ensuring the practice is welcoming to everyone.

However, it is essential for new clients to consider all available information, as there are also deeply negative accounts. One such account details a tragic outcome from what was expected to be a simple procedure. This highly negative experience, citing outdated equipment and a lack of familiarity with the staff, points to potential risks and raises serious concerns. The stark contrast between these experiences highlights the importance of open communication with the veterinary team and the need for new clients to do their own due diligence. While the positive testimonials focus on the staff's compassionate demeanor and effective treatment, the negative ones underscore the potential for things to go wrong and the emotional toll that can have.

Ultimately, for a pet owner in New Jersey, deciding on a vet requires careful consideration of both the positive experiences shared by some and the serious warnings from others. It is worth choosing Park View Veterinary Hospital for its extensive list of services, including specialized treatments, its commitment to convenience through an in-house lab and pharmacy, and its focus on making the facility accessible. However, it is equally important to go into the initial consultation with a clear set of questions and to feel completely confident in your choice. The best vet-client relationship is built on trust, and it is a pet parent's prerogative to ensure that trust is earned.
