Pawsitive Results k-9 Rehabilitation & Gayle Hickok Introduce
For dedicated dog owners across Maine, seeing our canine companions healthy, happy, and active is a top priority. When injuries, surgeries, or mobility challenges arise, or when weight management becomes a crucial part of their well-being, traditional veterinary care often benefits from specialized support. In Cape Elizabeth, ME, local residents are incredibly fortunate to have Pawsitive Results K-9 Rehabilitation, led by the highly skilled and compassionate Gayle Hickok. This unique center is dedicated to providing specialized rehabilitation services, focusing on restoring mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing the overall quality of life for dogs through tailored physical therapy and expert guidance.
Pawsitive Results K-9 Rehabilitation operates with a clear understanding that just like humans, dogs can greatly benefit from targeted physical therapy and rehabilitation programs after injury, surgery, or due to chronic conditions. While a primary veterinarian addresses initial diagnosis and medical treatments, canine rehabilitation provides the crucial next step in recovery and long-term well-being. Gayle Hickok's approach is not merely about treating symptoms but about addressing the root causes of mobility issues and empowering owners with the knowledge and tools to support their dog's recovery journey. Her expertise extends beyond physical recovery to encompass vital aspects like weight management, which plays a critical role in canine joint health and overall vitality.
The profound impact Gayle Hickok has had on her canine patients and their human families is powerfully conveyed through client testimonials. One grateful owner shared a truly remarkable story: "Gayle is amazing! So so nice to dogs and people. My dog saw her post luxating patella surgery. He wasn't using his leg at all, even 8 weeks after surgery and after only 3 visits he was walking on it again. She's very knowledgeable and makes you feel so much better about the whole process." This highlights not only the rapid and effective physical improvement but also the emotional support and clear communication provided by Gayle.
Another testament to her life-changing work comes from a client whose dog, Bailey, achieved significant weight loss: "She changed my dogs life and she changed mine and my husband. Our Bailey started at 149 lbs. and is down to 116 lbs. and still losing. Thank you! Thank you! For all you have done for us. If you need someone that knows what they’re doing you need her! I recommend her highly!" This review underscores Gayle's expertise beyond just physical rehabilitation, extending to comprehensive wellness, and demonstrates the profound positive ripple effect her work has on the entire family. These heartwarming accounts firmly establish Pawsitive Results K-9 Rehabilitation and Gayle Hickok as an invaluable resource for dog owners in Maine seeking specialized, compassionate, and highly effective care.

Oct 29, 2023 · Cher CarverGayle took care of my pup Zara when she had her TTA several years ago. She was so compassionate and patient and the hydrotherapy made a huge difference for keeping the non-surgical leg strong and rebuilding muscle in the surgical leg. Zara's surgery has been successful and I believe so due to the rehab by Gayle!!!
