July 12 · ma debWe brought our senior dog down for end of life.He was 15 and so very loved. The staff were super good with him as we brought him in and the nurse explained the process [ as we had put down a cat some 10 years ago ]. They were so good with us and showed us so much sympathy. The doctor explained the process again and they gave us as much time as we needed with him before he passed. My daughter and I left the room but I propped the door open to see the doctor confirm he had passed fully. At no point did I feel rushed to leave, nor did my husband [ who stayed in the room after ]. As we were leaving everyone gave us privacy. The cremation services that they use were beyond exceptional. It did take 12 days for us to get him back, but the quality of actual care from the services was amazing. We did receive a letter from the staff at PetCare Clinic along with nose imprints as well as paw imprints. From the cremation service we got a clay paw print, a certification of cremation, some hair as well as a beautiful blue velvet bag that came with Crow.Honestly I will always speak so highly of this clinic and it has become our new clinic for the rest of our pets. Please come here, these people CARE about you and your pet. They were so loving and caring and empathetic, HONEST CARING HUMANS, not just caring because their job needs them to pretend.
November 13 · Becky RenziI wouldn’t recommend this place. We took our dog in for a simple broken dew claw and I wonder by the end of it if my dog was going to come home.He is a high anxiety dog and he needed anxiety meds before he came in. They assured us it would be fine and to bring him in. When we got there we had to pay before he was able to be seen, while we was bleeding all over the place. Then after they got the payment the brought us into a room. We sat for 25 minutes before we went out to ask if he was going to be seen soon. Then after another 20-30 minutes they came in and said they were giving him something for his anxiety. They gave him the shot and he instantly went limp and stopped breathing.I asked if that was normal and the nurse started acting frantic and brought him to the back. They come in 30 minutes later after we ask what’s going on, and they ask if we got the receipt for the visit and then leave the room. After another 15 minutes the vet comes in and lets us know that dogs can have different side effects to general anesthetic. They bring him back in after giving him a reversal. He sat there for an hour before we were able to get him awake enough to get him into the car. The nurse insinuated they gave him too much anesthetic. It was a bad experience and cost $500 for a nail trim and anesthetic. The nurse at the end was great though!
