Our amazing experience with Dr Sharon Staples / Pets in Motion Mobile Acupuncture, began almost two years ago in February of 2023. Our 11 1/2 year old German Shepherd, Sligo, was experiencing severe pain in his right hip. He was unable to get up without our help. We took him to the vet where xrays of the hip looked normal. We treated him with pain meds and he was still unable to get up on his own and just seemed to be failing. Having experienced acupuncture treatments myself, I thought maybe Sligo would experience some relief with that type of treatment. After some research we found Dr Sharon!Sharon came to our house and did a thorough exam of Sligo before beginning his acupuncture treatment. Sligo was completely at ease, having no idea he was "at the vet"! The needles didn't bother him at all because he loved Sharon and her "magic treats"! Sharon left after about a 2 hour visit. Sligo was up and walking around within a 1/2 hour of her leaving. It was so wonderful to see him feeling some relief from that pain!Since that first treatment, we have continued having Dr Sharon treat both Sligo and his littermate, Darby, once a month. Our pups are now 13 1/2 years old and it is so nice to know that their health can be supported through acupuncture rather than strictly pain meds, etc. And, all in our home alleviating the stressful visits to the vet's office! We highly recommend Pets in Motion and Dr Sharon. She is an experienced veterinarian, professional, extremely knowledgeable, caring, passionate about her work, and all around great human and truly loves working with animals. She will strive to find ways to support your pet's health and overall well being.Do yourself and your pet(s) a favor and have Dr Sharon Staples make a visit to your house! - Susan Friede

Pets in Motion Mobile Acupuncture is a local Colorado business making a significant impact on the lives of pets and their owners. Founded and led by Dr. Sharon Staples, a highly experienced and compassionate veterinarian, this service is dedicated to providing specialized acupuncture treatments for a variety of conditions. The comfort of their own home allows pets to remain relaxed and receptive to treatment, which can significantly enhance the therapeutic effects of the acupuncture. It’s a truly personalized approach, where the focus is entirely on your pet's needs, without the distractions and stress of a traditional veterinary office. The convenience and personalized attention are what set this service apart and make it a highly valued resource for pet owners across the Colorado region.

While Pets in Motion is a mobile service, its home base is located at 2165 Vancorum Cir in Loveland, CO 80538, USA. This location serves as the central hub for the business, but the key to their service is their mobility. Dr. Sharon Staples and her team travel to your home, bringing all the necessary equipment and expertise with them. This business model is built on convenience and accessibility, designed to eliminate the logistical challenges that often accompany a pet’s veterinary appointment. The service area is focused on communities within the Colorado region, ensuring that local pet owners have access to this specialized form of care. You don't need to worry about finding parking or navigating busy streets with a stressed animal. • Services Offered
  • Acupuncture Treatments: The core of Pets in Motion's services is veterinary acupuncture. This is used to treat a wide range of conditions, including chronic pain, arthritis, hip dysplasia, back pain, and neurological issues. The treatments are administered with very fine needles, which are often not even noticed by the pet, and are a natural, drug-free way to manage pain and improve mobility.
  • Geriatric and Senior Pet Care: A significant portion of the practice is dedicated to helping older pets. Acupuncture can dramatically improve the quality of life for senior animals by alleviating the pain and stiffness associated with aging, helping them to move more freely and comfortably.
  • Pain Management: In addition to arthritis, acupuncture is used to manage pain from injuries, post-surgical recovery, and other chronic conditions. It can be used as a standalone treatment or in conjunction with other veterinary care and medications.
  • Mobility Improvement: For pets with difficulty getting up, walking, or climbing stairs, acupuncture can help restore nerve function and muscle strength, leading to significant improvements in their ability to move around independently.
  • Overall Wellness Support: Beyond specific ailments, acupuncture can also promote overall health and well-being by improving circulation, supporting the immune system, and reducing stress in animals.
  • Features / Highlights
  • In-Home Convenience: The primary feature of Pets in Motion is the mobile service. This eliminates the stress of car rides and clinic visits, allowing pets to receive treatment in a familiar and comforting environment. This is especially beneficial for anxious or geriatric animals.
  • Dr. Sharon Staples: The service is led by Dr. Sharon Staples, an experienced and compassionate veterinarian. Her expertise and kind demeanor are frequently highlighted in customer testimonials, and her ability to connect with animals is a key part of the positive experience.
  • Personalized, One-on-One Care: Unlike a busy clinic where the vet has to manage multiple patients, Pets in Motion offers a dedicated, one-on-one session for your pet. This allows Dr. Staples to conduct a thorough examination and spend ample time on the treatment, ensuring the best possible outcome.
  • Natural Pain Management: This service provides a natural alternative to traditional pain medications. For pet owners who prefer a non-pharmacological approach or want to supplement their pet's current treatment plan, acupuncture is an excellent choice.
  • Caring and Knowledgeable Professional: Dr. Staples is described by her clients as not only an experienced vet but also a genuinely caring individual who is passionate about her work. This combination of professionalism and compassion is a significant draw for pet owners.

What is worth choosing Pets in Motion Mobile Acupuncture? For many Colorado pet owners, the choice is clear. The primary benefit is the reduction of stress for both the pet and the owner. Avoiding the car ride, the waiting room, and the general chaos of a vet's office is a huge relief. As one client shared, their German Shepherd, Sligo, was "completely at ease, having no idea he was 'at the vet'!" This relaxed state allows the animal to be more receptive to the treatment, and it makes the entire experience a positive one. The results of the treatments speak for themselves. Clients have reported dramatic improvements in their pets' mobility and pain levels, often very soon after the first session. One client noted that their dog, Bella, was "moving better, limping less, going on walks and enjoying spending time on the deck with our family," all thanks to the acupuncture treatments. The highly personalized and compassionate care provided by Dr. Staples is another major factor. She takes the time to thoroughly examine the pet, listen to the owner's concerns, and develop a tailored treatment plan. This level of dedicated care is often hard to find in a traditional clinic setting. Ultimately, Pets in Motion Mobile Acupuncture offers a holistic, compassionate, and highly effective way to manage your pet's health, particularly for those with chronic pain, mobility issues, or anxiety. It's a service that truly prioritizes the well-being of the animal, making it a valuable resource for any pet owner in Colorado looking for the best possible care for their beloved companions.
