★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1So grateful we can count on the wonderful folks at root on the ridge to take care of our animals. When we had to say goodbye to our cat Thumbelina they sent us a beautiful poem that was hand signed by the staff, just very touching, not often you come by people who care like that. We returned recently with my cat Taco. There was a miscommunication but they took full responsibility and did everything they could to take care of the situation. Again, something you don’t see often these days by businesses. I cannot recommend them enough.
July 29 · Stella MutruxI've gotten my young male cat fixed here and have taken in my 12 year old cat to update her rabies shot. During both experiences staff was personable and kind. They answered all my questions and concerns. My male cat developed a little odd and only one testicle had descended. Even after he needed extra surgery to remove it from his abdomen the price was still reasonable. He healed well from his large incision within a few weeks and was back to being a menace. Both my cats are social and pretty good at the vet, but how efficient they are makes it all the easier bc after all they're still cats. Getting good care and getting out is so important. Picture is Pigeon in his surgical suit from earlier this year, if you're planning on kitty surgery they're a life saver.
June 14 · Autumn SmileyWe are so happy we switched our pup over to Root on the Ridge! Dr. Ayers and his team were so kind and took the time to explain everything to me. Our dog went in for sedation and some dental work and they were upfront and transparent about pricing so we could financially plan. I knew my pup was in great hands and one of the ladies up front even helped me get our dog out to the car and started the A/C while I got my littles buckled into car seats. As a mom of kids and fur babies it’s so refreshing to feel like the whole team really cares and takes such great care of their patients!
July 23 · Allyson GreenholtzI cannot say enough great things about Dr. Simon and the entire staff here. We contacted them during an emergency—our boxer, Beretta, was struggling to deliver her puppies after having four on her own. After being turned away by our regular vet, we called this clinic, and they immediately told us to come in.As soon as we arrived, they took Beretta back for an X-ray and discovered she still had six more puppies to deliver. They acted quickly, performing an emergency C-section and were able to save five of the remaining puppies. The care and compassion they showed during such a stressful time was incredible. They’ve continued to follow up with us, checking in on Beretta and the puppies. We also brought the puppies back a few days later for their tail docking and dewclaws, and again received excellent care.Dr. Simon is not only extremely knowledgeable, but truly caring. We will absolutely continue coming here from now on. If you love your pets and want the best care possible, I highly recommend Dr. Simon and her amazing team.
July 18 · Katie RosetteROOT ON THE RIDGEGREENBRIER TNGood Evening:I had my Chorkie 6 mo.mix neutered! I am so happy we have a real working vet in our neighborhood!!! Root on the Ridge was so very nice to us … Very professional but still friendly Go and warm!! The surgery was preformed! They even extracted 2 puppy teeth that were loose! I was sent home with medication for pain! With detailed instructions on what to do for after care!!! I’m so very pleased… I’m on a fixed income and their prices were significantly wayyyy. Lower than any vets I had been using for my fur babies. I will transfer my other pets to them also. I am giving them 5 stars but if I could add more I would.
