Roper Mountain Animal Hospital, under the care of professionals like Dr. David DVM, possesses several features and highlights that are important for local pet owners to consider.
- Commitment to Compassionate Care: As highlighted by a positive review, the "professionalism, compassion, and staff" are outstanding. This indicates a genuine dedication to treating both pets and their owners with empathy and understanding, which is crucial during potentially stressful veterinary visits.
- Personalized Attention: Being a privately owned practice, they aim to provide individualized attention, ensuring that each pet receives care tailored to their specific needs rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
- Thorough Communication and Explanation: One pet owner praised the doctor for going "above and beyond to keep me informed and took the time to explain every procedure, every lab etc." This commitment to clear, detailed communication empowers pet owners to make informed decisions about their pet's health.
- Dedicated and Caring Staff: The positive feedback consistently mentions the "Doctor, tech, staff was so very compassionate, thoughtful and caring." This collective dedication from the entire team creates a supportive and nurturing environment for pets and their families.
- Comprehensive Services Under One Roof: Offering a wide range of services from wellness exams and vaccinations to surgery and boarding, the hospital provides a convenient, single-location solution for many of a pet's health needs.
However, it is important to address all feedback. One review mentioned a significant wait time and a lack of apology, which is a point of concern regarding scheduling and communication. While this can happen in busy practices, especially with unforeseen emergencies, potential new clients should be aware that occasional delays might occur. The hospital's aim, as evident from other reviews, is clearly to provide efficient and compassionate service, and such feedback can sometimes represent an isolated incident or an exceptionally busy day.

Roper Mountain Animal Hospital: Brown David DVM Reviews
Took 2 month old kitten for wellness check and shots. Had 4pm appointment. Waited 45 minutes in car. Finally called back and they still could not get me in.Could not give me estimate on time. No apologies, nothing. Ended up leaving. VERY disappointed. Advising other new pet owners not to go here as they do not know how to schedule.
