Smiths Station Animal Hospital: Dr. Steve Griffin Reviews
- Dr Namie was absolutely incredible. She took care of my dog with the utmost care and respect in the most timely manner. He needed a tooth pulled from a traumatic injury and within a day he was relieved of pain, surgery finished, and back at home doing better than ever! Best part was they were not my vet but I can guarantee you she is now for all my pets! Very clean facility, professional and kind staff. I can't brag enough about them! November 28 · Brett Albritton

- Run!!! Do NOT use Dr. Steve Griffen, especially do not use his partner, and stay away from the rude staff!! Money is ALL they care about!I brought my dog here after he had been run over. I made a $200 deposit and explained that the rest would be paid when my husband was able to call me with the credit card number. The estimate for care was WAY over the top!I left my dog there and went home to make phone calls. I found much less expensive estimates at EVERY other vet i called! I went to pick up my dog to take him elsewhere. They refused to give him to me until i paid them over $1000. (The ONLY thing they had done at this point was pain medication). 7 hours of care, he was kennelled!! They called the sheriff when i became angry and upset and would not let me see or have my dog. When my husband called with the number i had to leave my dog with them . It was too late to take him elsewhere, and the amount they had already charged me made it negligible.EXCEPT: I get a phone call the next morning from Griffen telling me to pick up my dog. He wouldn’t do surgery on him “because he didn’t feel he could make me happy”!My dog had been with them for over 24 hours. When I picked him up, his wound was not cleansed, or packed! It was left gaping open for infection! I was charged over $1000. For nothing!!!THEY COMPLETELY MISSED THE FACT THAT MY DOG ALSO HAD A BROKEN PELVIS.Go anywhere else!!! May 30 · Suzanne Rainey

- Receptionist Tracy. Not very pleasant. needs to work on cust service skills. Visibly annoyed by my young dog's barking. Did not make me feel valued as a customer. The rest of the staff is nice. The original impression I received just isn't a great way to start off a visit; especially since this clinic was recommended to me by a former employee and I drove 30 minutes to get here. - Great people, and great service, but they do not carry Advantix or Heartgard you have to order that online, if that's what you use as we do (just in case you did not know), that is the only drawback but not a deal breaker. The service they offer is worth it. June 23 · Chad Mullican
