Southcentral Veterinary Services Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Do not take your animals here! Only money matters to "Southcentral Veterinary Services" not your beloved pet. They should be ashamed calling themselves Veterinary Services. Every single visit for my sweet labradoodle has been well over $400.00..... From simple wellness to urgent visits. This isn't even counting an emergency surgery that he didn't even need. That set me back $2300.00. This is probably why their prices aren't transparent, I have receipts, if you would like to see them just ask. I refuse to give this BUSINESS (not compassionate veterinarian) another dollar. If i could give them ZERO stars I absolutely would. Times are hard and predatory behavior is disgusting.
July 09 · Amber PearsonWe have 4 animals we take to Southcentral. (2 dogs & 2 cats) We have seen Dr. Grimes, Dr. Poole & Dr. Thomas. They have each been wonderful to work with. Each exam has been thorough and concise. We are always greeted by the friendliest front office staff and all of the Vet Techs are fabulous too. When we have an urgent issue or concern Southcentral is always prompt with their response and fits us into the schedule asap. Thankful to have found a vet that we trust to keep our fur babies happy and healthy.
November 24 · Laura Grace MarksberryI would never normally put a review so quickly after my kitty dying, but the love and compassion I felt today, goes above and beyond anything expected. They walked me through everything and let me hold my 22 year old cat as she passed on. The vet and staff were incredibly empathetic. I will not go anywhere else.
July 11 · Sara RichardsonMy baby boy Sunny had some kind of accident Tuesday night late. Pretty sure he got popped by his sister. His poor eye was swollen and bothering him so bad!! Called my vet Wed morning and kinda told them what happened and let them know his eye was red and swollen. They just pretty much blew me off and said they had an appt at 2 if I wanted it, UGH!! Seriously, these are our children, by choice, and my good friend told me to call Southcentral and they were like can you bring him on in and I'm like of course!! Everyone I had any contact with at all was so friendly and helpful!! Not used to that at my old vet, yes had them transfer all 3 of our furbabies and cancel that stupid 2 appt too!!! Love love love Southcentral!!! They are hands down the friendliest vet I've EVER been too!! Highly recommend this place if you truly love your furbabies!!!
October 26 · Trina Lou BuchananHad to relocate to Greece permanently and so I brought my 3 collies in for the rabies shots, the microchips, and the travel docs required by the EU and a health check up. Only another BG vet was authorized to provide the travel documents for entering Europe and they would charge a lot more. Also my boy had a mite infection under his chin so the doctor here took care of that as well. The health exam was a bit pricey, but it's 3 dogs and I got meds too along with dewormers so it's reasonable and since he spent time to examine each dog. So with the travel docs that the vet issued, the total came to $1,779.19. He is very knowledgeable and he did his best to keep the price low for the travel documents by putting all 3 dogs in the same form since the European Union allows it. I had no issues in Germany and Greece. He organized it all very well, given I had no time to waste and he knew that if I delayed one more day to bring the dogs in for microchipping, I wouldn't be able to travel. He was diligent and he's friendly. The ladies are also very nice and the whole facility is impressive. They even offer a free treat at the front desk counter, my dogs' fav blue buffalo wilderness grain free biscuits. If I stayed in the US longer, I'd totally go back to them.
