★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Spry Companions gave us more than just a successful surgery—they gave us peace of mind during one of the scariest moments we’ve faced with our dog, Marlowe. She had a total hip replacement, and from the moment we walked through the door, we were met with warmth, kindness, and true compassion. Everyone on staff was so sweet—not just to us, but especially to Marlowe. She was nervous and did her fair share of howling, but they never made us feel like she was a burden. Instead, they told us how much they loved her, how sweet she was, and treated her like one of their own. They were incredibly thorough with post-op instructions and took the time to make sure we understood everything we needed to do to keep her comfortable and safe at home. The clinic itself was clean, calm, and clearly run by people who love what they do.For such a major surgery, the cost was beyond reasonable—and yet the quality of care felt priceless. We are so thankful for Spry Companions and how they cared for our girl. We would trust them again in a heartbeat.
April 11 · angelique deetsI cannot praise this place enough for how amazing they were. My dog had to get TPLO surgery after tearing his ACL chasing his ball. From the first phone call to schedule the diagnostic appointment, the staff was super welcoming and helpful. St the appointment, Dr Breshears was very detailed in explaining what was going on my guy and what it would take to get him fixed up. He was assertive in the course of action needed, which was definitely what I needed after going down the Google rabbit hole chasing 100 different ideas.I should preface that my dog is a registered support animal for anxiety, so the day of surgery I was probably more nervous than the average human. The awesome hearts heading up the front end were understanding as heck and encouraged me to call as much as I needed to throughout the day. The surgical team texted me when he went in and got out with details about how he was doing. After surgery, the ray of sunshine (that had initially geared herself up to have to deal with my GSD/Chow Chow on the “chill out procedure” but actually came to fall in love with him), came in and gave us the printed out detailed after care procedures, sat with us and went over every single page. (The packet included pictures of his knee and tissues, X-rays, PT, medications, everything we would need to know.)Between the friendly staff, the extremely knowledgeable surgeon, and the cleanliness of the office, my expectations were exceeded beyond measure at every turn.Seriously, if the wonderful people that created this haven did normal vet work too, I would come to them for the rest of my life with all of my dogs, no matter where I lived.
June 13 · Cheri StegerI cannot say enough positive things about Spry Companions. Every staff member we came in contact with was incredible from the front desk staff, surgical technicians, surgeons, etc. Our dog, Tilk had to have a tarsus (ankle) reconstruction surgery with a 12-week recovery. It took a lot of work to support his recovery and we felt so supported along the way. Tilk got his final clearance today and we are so grateful for the high-quality care Tilk received! Thank you, Spry Companions!
July 17 · Kate CaliguireWe have had a great experience with Spry Companions. Dr. Breshears helped us make the decision of bringing our dog home from the ER after she broke her leg to have surgery with him a day later. He promptly called me to make a plan after I sent over the ER X-rays and assured me my dog would be safe waiting to have surgical intervention. He stayed on the phone to make sure we discussed every detail that would keep her comfortable and safe until surgery. This saved us from paying over double to have this same surgery done at the animal hospital.Everyone we have met on his team has been wonderful, kind and caring. Our dog is still splinted but showing no signs of pain and recovering very well on their treatment plan. We are very pleased and impressed with the care we have received.
August 03 · Amy B (Amy B)Amazing place! Dr. Breshears is absolutely fantastic at what he does! My Aussie has had to have two TPLO surgeries (right and left) and with each of them, she’s healed beautifully. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone needing orthopedic care for their fur baby! The staff also takes great care to ensure you and your fur baby have everything you need.
